At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey J Kamaruddin, the rider of TRIUMPH BANKER’S, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding TRIUMPH BANKER’S, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to GOLD MEDAL ROSE, BANKER’S ONE SEVEN and HASTEN at the 450M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey J Kamaruddin’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record, and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) race day, to be served on 8 August 2026 (with any other penalty) and was also fined RM 4,000/- to be paid before his next race meeting, in default of which he shall serve an additional one (1) day suspension. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App G Farhan, the rider of BANKER’S HAPPY, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BANKER’S HAPPY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to IRISH GOODBYE and PACIFIC ENERGY at the 800M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App G Farhan’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record, and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) race days, to be served from 1 August 2026 until 8 August 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of GOOD FRIEND, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BANKER’S HAPPY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference BANKER’S VICTORY at the 1400M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey S Ruzaini’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record, and his submissions on penalty.
