At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey CK Khaw, the rider of PULSE BOMB, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PULSE BOMB, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to NAUGHTY KID
at the 1000M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey CK Khaw’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record, and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) race day, to be served on 18 July 2026, and was also fined RM 1,500/- to be paid before his next race meeting, in default of which he shall serve an additional one (1) day suspension. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

When questioned regarding the improved performance of IMPERIAL SABRE, Trainer SY Lim could not provide any explanation. His attention was drawn to the Rules regarding in and out running.

(J Kamaruddin) Raced awkwardly throughout. Jockey fined RM250/- under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) for using the whip exceeding the permitted number.

(WH Kok) Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages. Trainer S Dunderdale was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to submit an overweight request form for Jockey WH Kok. Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages.
9 ANJOU CROWN
(L Riordan) Jockey was fined RM1000/- under MRA Rule 44(12) for making a celebratory gesture prior to the finish. He was advised that an embargo of 55kgs was placed on his weight. He was subsequently examined by the Club Doctor who stood him down from his riding engagements for the remainder of the races today.

When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of BANKER'S EMPIRE, Trainer BT LIM explained that in his opinion, the improvement was due to the addition of blinkers and tongue tie today. He also stated that at its previous start, the gelding was caught wide throughout the race. The Panel noted his explanation.
