SUPREME JUSTICE which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

NORTHERN STAR (App AB Riduan) over-raced between the 1100M to the 1000M-mark.
App AB Riduan and App H Haikal, the riders of NORTHERN STAR and SUPREME JUSTICE respectively, both reported that their mounts could not handle the going. A post-race veterinary examination of SUPREME JUSTICE revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

App AB Riduan and Jockey AM Aizat, the riders of NORTHERN STAR and TAIWAN CAPTAIN respectively, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of NORTHERN STAR revealed no obvious abnormality and TAIWAN CAPTAIN had returned lame near fore. As such, TAIWAN CAPTAIN will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of BLUE EYED BOY revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer HY Cheng, the trainer of NORTHERN STAR and App RB Riduan, the rider of NORTHERN STAR regarding the tactics adopted in his ride. They stated that NORTHERN STAR normally comes from off the pace and was instructed accordingly. The Panel of Stewards noted their explanations and took no further action.

RACE 2 (R1167) CLASS 5 (B) – 1600m (lc) TOURMALINE HANDICAP
GOLDEN CRAFTSMAN (App AB Riduan) was slow into stride.
MAGICAL PARK (S Hafis) was hanging out in the later stages.
LUCK HAPPY (S Saddam) had a tendency to lay out at the top of the straight and thereafter, raced poorly. As such, the gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey SU Lim and App H Haikal, the riders of TRINITY HONOR and BLACK TAIPAN respectively, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of TRINITY HONOR and BLACK TAIPAN revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that ADIRA PEGASUS (App Z Syafifie) returned having cast its off fore plate.

RACE 4 (R1169) CLASS 5(A) - 1300m (lc) FIRE OF DIAMOND HANDICAP
SUNNY FIGHTER (S Saddam) and SUNNY STAR (S Ruzaini) were slow into stride.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (HK Cheng) and ELITE SAINT (App R Nuqman) drifted out in the straight, finishing the race wide.
Jockeys AM Aizat and S Ruzaini, the riders of BANGKOK BOY and SUNNY STAR respectively, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of BANGKOK BOY revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore and SUNNY STAR revealed no obvious abnormality. As such, BANGKOK BOY will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 5 (R1170) CLASS 5 (A) – 1300m (lc) GREEN EMERALD HANDICAP
JULIUS CAESAR and ROSES FOR ME, both are course scratching. JULIUS CAESAR had sustained bruised both fore fetlock and ROSES FOR ME sustained a bruised off fore cannon. Each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
After getting a good jump, Jockey MM Firdaus, the rider of STORM TO WIN raced wide on the turn, covering unnecessary ground. An inquiry into the running and handling of STORM TO WIN will be held on a date to be fixed.
YES BOSSY (HS Gill) was hanging out in the later stages.
SIVAJI ROCKET (HK Cheng) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BEIHAI TURBO (App R Nuqman) and BIG MONKEY (KC Tham) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R1171) CLASS 5(B)–1300m (lc) MOTHER OF PEARL HANDICAP
KIPEH, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
As there was no suitable apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey S Saddam to replace App R Nuqman as the rider of APOLLO ROCK.
DON’T FORGET THIS (App Z Syafifie) which was unable to be boxed, was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 3.36pm and the gelding will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
BELLA VELOCE (AM Aizat) and BRISTOL DIAMOND (J Daniel) brushed on jumping.
CHERISH (S Hafis) and APOLLO ROCK (S Saddam) showed no early pace, despite being urged.
Approaching the 1000M-mark, SIR ELTON (HS Gill) became crowded and had to steady when LIM’S HOPEFULLY (HK Cheng) rolled inwards. Jockey HK Cheng was shown the video of the incident and was warned to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.
The saddle on FIRST SUCCESS (S Ruzaini) slipped to the near side during the running.

Jockey J Low, the rider of LUCKY TIGER reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of LUCKY TIGER revealed that the gelding had returned with severe fetlock bruising both hinds and as such, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of SIR ELTON, which was impounded, revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that ISLE OF SKY(AK Lim) returned having cast its near fore plate.

RACE 7 (R1172) CLASS 5(B) – 1300m (lc) KINGSTONE RUBY HANDICAP
UNLIMITED STAR and ROCK ME EASY were up 16kgs and 30kgs respectively whilst I’M THE MAN and JEFFREY were down 18kgs and 15kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Jockeys J Daniel, J Low and App H Haikal, the riders of ASIAN JET, YULONG DREAM and I’M THE MAN respectively, all reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of ASIAN JET, YULONG DREAM and I’M THE MAN revealed no obvious abnormality.
An inquiry into the running and handling of JAKAMA PEGASUS (App Z Syafifie) will be held at a date to be fixed.
Post-race veterinary examinations of PROVE IT (S Ruzaini) and JAKAMA PEGASUS revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that ULURU (App SN Shiva) returned having cast its near fore plate.

RACE 8 (R1173) OPEN NOVICE – 1100m (sc) (SW) RAINBOW OF OPAL STAKES
As there was no suitable apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey AM Aizat to replace App R Nuqman as the rider of BITCOIN KING.
WALIM (App H Haikal) jumped awkwardly inwards, bumping SHIMI GO (App AB Riduan) which was inconvenienced momentarily.
CAVANA (MM Firdaus) raced wide on the bend and entered the home straight wide.
USA CAPTAIN (App R Ruwaidy) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
After the running of this race, the going was upgraded to ‘Yielding.’

RACE 9 (R1174) CLASS 4(A) – 1200m (sc) PROSPERITY AMETHYST HANDICAP
As there was no suitable apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey S Ruzaini to replace App R Nuqman as the rider of LIMITLESS VENTURE.
This race was run in light rain.
LIMITLESS VENTURE (S Ruzaini) raced wide on the bend and entered the home straight wide.
EXDREAM (App SN Shiva) and FAST AND SUPER (S Saddam) had a tendency to lay out at the later stages, both finishing the race wide.
Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of SHOWCASE THE GOLD dropped his whip at approximately the 300M-mark and he was warned that a repetition may lead to a penalty being imposed in future.
Post-race veterinary examinations of JOJU (L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality and SHOWCASE THE GOLD had returned lame off fore. As such, the gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 10 (R1175) CLASS 4(B) – 1200m (sc) BERYL AQUAMARINE HANDICAP
WINNER POWER, a course scratching as it had sustained multiple abrasion and cuts over its off hind limb, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
BALL AND CHAIN (S Saddam) was examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
BAKUTEH (S Hafis) jumped awkwardly outwards, brushing THAILAND CAPTAIN (App SN Shiva).
