RACE 1 (R143) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m (sc) TEMBOK TAPAH HANDICAP
GOLD COAST CAPTAIN a course scratching as it had sustained bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey AK Lim to ride EMPIRE BAY which was an emergency acceptor.
Trainer Peter Lee was fine RM500/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5) (a) for wrongly declaring Jockey CK Tan and without confirming with the rider before declaring him on SUPREME JUSTICE. The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey Z Khairil to replace Jockey CK Tan on SUPREME JUSTICE.
MAGICAL PARK (App S Hafis) and RACING MAN (S Saddam) were both slow to begin.
Approaching the 1200M, SOUTHERN WIND (J Low) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of POLO MASTER (AM Aizat).
Passing the 1200M, EMIRATES WARRIOR (C Goon) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of LUCK HAPPY (R Rueven).
A post-race veterinary examination of MAESTRO (I Amirul) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R144) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m (sc) JALAN TRONOH HANDICAP
Emergency acceptors MOMENTUM GALAXY, GRAND SHOW and SECOND CHANCE were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
NAPOLEON (App CT Lee) jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin.
CHERISH (M Yusri) was slow to begin.
App P Mogun and Jockey M Yusri, the riders of SILENT BOSS and CHERISH both reported that their mount were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of SILENT BOSS and CHERISH revealed no obvious abnormality. CHERISH which raced poorly, will required to pass a 1000m/veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R145) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (sc) BATU SEBELAS HANDICAP
POWER EXPRESS (App R Lingarajan) was fractious in the barrier, reared when the gates were released, unbalancing its rider and shortly thereafter, was being dislodged. App R Lingarajan was exempted from weighing-in and was taken to hospital for observation. He was stood down for the remainder of the day by the Club Medical Officer.
POWER EXPRESS will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
DICAPRIO (M Yusri) jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin.
A post-race veterinary examination of DICAPRIO revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 5 (R147) ENRICH STAKES A - 1200m(sc) JALAN TASEK AVENUE STAKES (SET WEIGHT)
Heavy rain fell prior to and during the running of this race.
As there was no suitable apprentice jockey available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey S Saddam to replace App R Lingarajan as the rider of PENDRAGON PRINCESS.
RELAU STAR (Z Khairil) was slow to begin.
The saddle on LIM’S DASHING (HS Gill) slipped to its off-side during the running.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that DAZZLING SPEED (M Yusri) had bled and as such, the gelding will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
All riders returned an average of 1.5kgs over.
The state of track was down-graded to “Yielding” after the running of this race.

RACE 6 (R148) CLASS 4(A) – 1200m (sc) COLUMBIA HANDICAP
Emergency acceptors TIME TO ROCK and JULIUS AESAR were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
MASTER JIANGMEN (App S Hafis) was slow to begin and thereafter raced poorly. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
CHIEF CLERK (HK Cheng) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey S Saddam, the rider of PURPLE RAIN reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of PURPLE RAIN revealed that the gelding had bled and as such, it will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

RACE 7 (R149) CLASS 4(B) -1200m (sc) PASAR BIDOR HANDICAP
Emergency acceptor ON THE RAZZ was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
STORM WARNING which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
STORM WARNING (CK Tan) and INVICTUS WARRIOR (M Yusri) were slow to begin.
A post-race veterinary examination of OCEAN LAW (KC Wong) revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that OCEAN LAW and STORM WARNING returned having cast their near fore plate and both fore plates respectively.

RACE 8 (R150) CLASS 4(B) – 1200m(sc) JALAN KAYU MANIS HANDICAP
As there was no suitable apprentice jockey available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey AM Aizat to replace App R Lingarajan as the rider of SING EXPRESS.
KHAMSA which was down 52kgs in body weight since their last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
STAR CHOICE (HK Cheng) was slow to begin.
A post-race veterinary examination of KHAMSA (J Chuah) revealed that the gelding had returned lame off-fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
