RACE 1 (R867) CLASS 5(B) – 1400m (lc) LEECH HANDICAP

Acting on veterinary advice that TAN’S MAESTRO had sustained a bruised off fore sole, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 12.45pm and the gelding will be required to pass veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

YULONG DREAM (App P Haris) jumped away awkwardly

CAPE LINCOLN (HS Gill) jumped awkwardly inwards.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry, Jockey SS Vanan, the rider of RAISE ME UP pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) for using his whip in an excessive manner.

In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into consideration Jockey SS Vanan’s record and mitigating factors. He was fined a sum of RM500/- and was advised of his right of appeal (1.38pm).

RACE 2 (R868) CLASS 5(B) – 1400m (lc) HUGH LOW HANDICAP

QUEEN FORCE (CK Tan) faltered at the 700M-mark.

SNOW DANCER which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R869) CLASS 5 (A) – 1400m (lc) BREWSTER HANDICAP

SING EXPRESS which was up 15kgs in body weight while JEFFREY was down 23kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

As Jockey S Muniandy was medically stood down, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey M Yusri to replace him as the rider of SING EXPRESS.

MYSTICAL STAR (App S Hafis) was slow into stride.

JEFFREY (App AR Aiman) and PROVE IT (Y Aify) brushed on jumping.

Jockey AK Lim, the rider of MR ROCKWELL dropped his whip approaching the 200M-mark. The Panel of Stewards investigated this matter and after consideration, took no further action.

RACE 4 (R870) CLASS 4(B) -1400m (lc) TAMBUN HANDICAP

Emergency acceptors GUNFORHIRE, STAGESHOW and DIAMOND RUSH were withdrawn due to a capacity field.

FIGHTING WARRIOR which was down 28kgs in body weight since it last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

CRACKING TOTTIE (App A Saran) threw its head up badly at the start, losing considerable ground. At a subsequent Inquiry, App A Saran, the rider of CRACKING TOTTIE in the presence of his master Trainer T Asogan was found guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

The details of the charge are that:

App A Saran failed to give the horse sufficient reins on jumping, resulting in CRACKING TOTTIE being fractious, throwing its head up badly and losing considerable ground.

In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into consideration his riding record and mitigating factors. App A Saran was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) month with effect from Monday, 8^th November 2021 and to expire on Tuesday, 7^th December 2021, both dates inclusive. He was informed of his right of appeal (5.48 pm).

RACE 5 (R871) CLASS 4(B) – 1400m(lc) GOPENG HANDICAP

D’GREAT MAGIC and LUKE MAN, both course scratching as they sustained bruised near fore suspensory and corneal ulcer right eye respectively, each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

Emergency acceptor BANGKOK BOY was withdrawn due to a capacity field.

IPOH DASH (App S Hafis) struck the right hand side of the barrier as the start was affected, resulting in this horse being slow to begin. IPOH DASH will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.

STORM WARNING (CK Tan) which stood and was slow to begin, will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.

CHAR KWAY TEOW (C Goon) was caught wide in the early and middle stages.

Approaching the 300M-mark, MR DAVID (Y Aify) shifted out over the heels of RULE THE WORLD (HS Gill) and in so doing, carried IPOH DASH and CHAR KWAY TEOW outwards.

Passing the 200M-mark, AUSSIE EAGLE (CK Khaw) rolled outwards, brushing STORM WARNING (CK Tan).

Jockey HS Gill, the rider of RULE THE WORLD reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RULE THE WORLD revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R872) OPEN MAIDEN – 1300m (lc) THOMPSON STAKES

LION KING, a course scratching as it sustained nail bind off fore , will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again

Emergency acceptor EMKI EMPRESS was withdrawn due to a capacity field.

Acting on veterinary advice that DESTINY CHILD had sustained a cut to its left stifle, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 3.46pm and the mare will be required to pass veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that UPTOWN GIRL (Y Aify) had cast its near hind plate at the saddling enclosure and had to be re-shod.

BABY BOSS (J Low) which was pulling hard, was difficult to settle in the early stages.

BIG POWER (HS Gill) was obliged to race wide on the turn.

Approaching the 300M-mark, BABY BOSS which was laying in, rolled in slightly, crowding and inconveniencing AUTUMN BLITZ (AK Lim).

A post-race veterinary examination of UPTOWN GIRL revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 7 (R873) ENRICH STAKE A (SW) -1100m (sc) SILVER STATE STAKES

SYMBOL OF COURAGE, a course scratching as it has sustained a bruised left hip, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

Emergency acceptors TIME ODYSSEY and DANCING RAIN were withdrawn due to a capacity field.

LAUS DEO which was up 16kgs and MR HOPKINS which was down 24kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

SACRED TONIC (CK Khaw) jumped awkwardly, getting its head up.

STAR GENIUS threw its head up on jumping, striking Jockey KC Wong on his face and thereafter, was slow into stride.

The saddle on MACARTHUR slipped badly to the right hand side during the running, resulting in App YY Oon being unable to assist. A post-race veterinary examination of MACARTHUR revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 8 (R874) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (sc) TIGER LANE HANDICAP

Emergency acceptor LOYALTY’S ANGEL was withdrawn due to a capacity field.

Trainer T Asogan, the trainer of QUASAR was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for wrongly declaring App A Saran on QUASAR instead of App P Haris.

Trainer S Hamilton, the trainer of GOLDEN STATES was fined RM250/- under PRTC Official programme Clause 12(a) for failing to present the gelding for its pre-race blood test within the stipulated time.

MAJOR GREEN (R Rueven) which was extremely difficult to load, will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.

FRANCES (CK Khaw) was slow into stride.

POWER EXPRESS (KC Wong) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again

RACE 9 (R875) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (sc) KAMPAR HANDICAP

WINTERFELL, a course scratching it had sustained a bruised off fore suspensory ligament, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

DARCI SUPER which was up 25kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

DARCI SUPER (App AR Aiman) and L’KEN (R Rueven) were slow into stride.

A post-race veterinary examination of STAGE THE STAGE (HS Gill) revealed no obvious abnormality.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that CHERISH (CK Tan) returned having cast its off fore plate.

Trainer Teh Ming Wan was fined RM200.00 under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) as his syce Razif Nor Lee (MRA no.: S.620) failed to follow the SOP set by Perak Turf Club when entering the club premises on 3^rd November 2021.

Trainer Siva Kumar A/L D Subramaniam was fined RM200.00 under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) as his syce Jefrizal Bin Mohamed Jamil (MRA no.: S.618) failed to follow the SOP set by Perak Turf Club when entering the club premises on 4^th November 2021.

Syce Husin Bin Abdullah (MRA no.: S.316) was fined RM200.00 under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) for failing to follow the SOP set by Perak Turf Club when entering the club premises on 4^th November 2021.

Trainer Wayne Lim Woei Chet was fined RM200.00 under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) as his syce Mohamad Amir Bin Zakaria (MRA no.:S571) for failing to follow the SOP set by Perak Turf Club when entering the club premises on 3^rd November 2021.

Trainer Lim Hoon Seng would be advised of the RM200.00 fine regarding his syce Roslan Bin Embee (MRA no.: STR 99) under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) for failing to follow the SOP set by Perak Turf Club when entering the club premises on 5^th November 2021
