RACE 1 (R962) CLASS 4(A) – 1100m (str) RACE-TO-THE-FINISH HANDICAP
KANTE, a course scratching as it sustained sole bruised off fore, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
LADY LAKSHMI which was up 21kgs in body weight, while ONE FORCE was down 17kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start
SPLENDOR (M Yusri) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.
LADY LAKSHMI (J Daniel) was slow into stride.
PURPLE RAIN (S Saddam) jumped awkwardly outwards, brushing CROWN STAR (J Low) onto ONE FORCE (AK Lim).
PLACE YOUR BET (App YY Oon) was hanging in, in the early stages.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer PK Leong, the trainer of CROWN STAR with regards to its improved performance today. The only explanation he could offer is that the horse is running on a straight course today. His attention was drawn to MRA Rule 117(3) regarding in-and-out running.
Jockeys J Daniel and S Saddam, the rider of LADY LAKSHMI and PURPLE RAIN respectively, both reported that their mounts were making abnormal respiratory noises. Post-race veterinary examinations of LADY LAKSHMI revealed that the mare had returned broken-winded and PURPLE RAIN revealed no obvious abnormality. LADY LAKSHMI will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R963) CLASS 4(B) – 1100m (str) FINISHING TOUCHES HANDICAP
HAPPY DAYZ, a course scratching as it sustained a bruised off hock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
DIAMOND RUSH which was up 39kgs in body weight, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
As App S Rosmizan was medically stood down, the Panel of Stewards permitted App AR Aiman to replace him, as the rider of NO REGRETS.
Rain fell during the running of this race.
SO ON (J Daniel) and CAORUNN (S Salee) when racing tight, brushed at approximately the 200M-mark.
The whip of App AR Aiman, the rider of NO REGRETS was accidentally struck from his hand at the concluding stages by Jockey R Rueven, the rider of WINNER NUMBER ONE.
In the concluding stages, NO REGRETS (App AR Aiman) brushed with SOLID BRISK (App S Hafis).
All riders returned an average of 0.5kg over.
A post-race veterinary examination of SO ON revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 3 (R964) CLASS 4 (A) – 1600m (lc) PULLING THE PLUG HANDICAP
As Jockey Y Aify was medically stood down, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey CK Tan to replace him as the rider of MR G.
ARIF(R Rueven) jumped awkwardly.
MASTER JIANGMEN (I Amirul) was slow into stride.
Jockey CK Tan, the rider of MR G reported that he had his whip accidentally struck from his hand at approximately the 200M-mark by the Jockey L De Souza, the rider of TRIPLE ONE STAR.
Jockey AK Lim, the rider of MAESTRO was dislodged on pulling-up.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer Evert van Breukelen with regards to the disappointing performance of MASTER JIANGMEN today. The only explanation he could offer was that this horse did not back up after its run on 21st November 2021. He undertook to report back to the Stewards, if he should finds anything amiss during the week which may have accounted for the disappointing performance.
MASTER JIANGMEN and EMIRATES WARRIOR (M Yusri) which both raced poorly, will each be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MOMENT OF JUSTICE (AM Aizat) and MASTER JIANGMEN revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R965) CLASS 5(A) -1400m (lc) GRAND FINALE HANDICAP
SUPREME JUSTICE, a course scratching as it sustained swollen off hind pastern, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptor THE JEWELLER was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
ASIAN TIGER was down 19kgs in body weight since their last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Panel of Stewards permitted App I Firdzriel to replace App S Rosmizan, as the rider of MODRIC.
Heavy rain fell prior to and during the running of this race.
MICHAELEARNSROCK (App I Firdza) was extremely slow to begin, jumped awkwardly and was reluctant to race thereafter. App I Firdza sustained an injury during the running of the race and was sent to hospital for medical attention by the Club Medical Officer.
All riders returned an average of 2.5kgs over.
