RACE 1 (R551) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc) VISION 2020 HANDICAP
ZMAN, HAPPY SIXTYSIX both course scratching as they had sustained bruised near fore carpus and bruised both fore fetlocks respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
BAGHDAD which was up 25kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
DON’T FORGET THIS (M Yusri) jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MY AIM (KC Wong) revealed that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress and BALL AND CHAIN (App S Saddam) revealed no obvious abnormality. MY AIM will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R552) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc) DISCIPLINE AND SERVICE HANDICAP
STAR CHOICE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near hock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
CHERISH which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
SECOND CHANCE (App S Hafis) was slow to begin.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer S Siva, the trainer of I AM MIDAS, into the gelding’s improved performance today and he stated that I AM MIDAS (App L De Souza) had improved its conditions since its last run in Penang and it is better-suited by the good track today. His explanations were noted.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MASTRO GEPPETTO (HS Gill), SILENT BOSS (KC Wong) and MOON BABY (M Ganeesh) revealed no obvious abnormality.

MORALES, a course scratching as it had sustained skin allergy, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MY GOODNESS which was down 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
PHAN NEE STAR (App S Hafis) jumped away awkwardly outwards at the start.
PHAN NEE STAR which was over-racing, had to be checked passing the 900M when QUASAR (App P Mogun) rolled in.
Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of E SUPREME reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of E SUPREME revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of PURPLE RAIN LADY (S Anandan) revealed that the mare had returned with epiglotic entrapment and EXCALIBUR (R Shafiq) revealed no obvious abnormality. PURPLE RAIN LADY will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.

CIRCUIT LAND, BLUE DANUBE, both course scratching as they had sustained a sore back and bruised near fore/sore back respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptor DAVINCI was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
HONGCHEN (CK Tan) was very slow to begin.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SACRED TONIC (KC Wong), MAGIC CITY (Y Aify), BRISTOL DIAMOND (S Anandan) and PENTAGON (App S Saddam) revealed no obvious abnormality.

KING FORCE which was up 26kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
COMECATCHME (App P Mogun) had to be checked racing to the 600M when SANDY’S PRIDE (App L De Souza) rolled in.
FLYING SHADOW (SU Lim) became unbalanced racing to the final 50M and lost its stride.
Jockey R Rueven, the rider of MAJOR GREEN reported that his mount was not striding out freely and was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of MAJOR GREEN revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of FLYING SHADOW revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and FIELD FORCE (AK Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality. FLYING SHADOW will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 8 (R558) CLASS 5 (A) – 1200m (sc) SUCCESSFUL HANDICAP
MAESTRO and SOLID BRISK which was up 15kgs and 17kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Racing to the 800M, ARLO (SU Lim) rolled out, resulting in COLORADO PRINCE (M Ganeesh) being taken out across the heels of SOLID BRISK (App S Hafis).
Racing to the 600M, COLORADO PRINCE had to be checked again when SOLID BRISK steadied off the heels of MAESTRO (App CK Khaw).
THUNDERSTRUCK (C Goon) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey J Daniel, the rider of MY FIRST MILLION reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of MY FIRST MILLION revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of COLORADO PRINCE reported that his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of COLORADO PRINCE revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of THUNDERSTRUCK (C Goon) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 9 (R559) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200m (sc) UNITED HANDICAP
KANTE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off hind pastern, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MR DAVID dislodged its rider, App P Haris, enroute to the start and was apprehended shortly. The Club Medical Officer certified that App P Haris was fit to ride. The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined MR DAVID and passed it fit to start.
Acting on the advice of the Starter that SUPER COME (App S Hafis) was unable to be boxed, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of SUPER COME at 4.27pm and the gelding will be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again.
KING POWER (CK Tan) was slow into stride.
WORLD HARMONY (J Daniel) jumped away awkwardly, threw its head up and lost ground.
Jockeys HS Gill, CK Tan and J Daniel, the riders of DEADLINE DAY, KING POWER and WORLD HARMONY respectively, reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of DEADLINE DAY, KING POWER and WORLD HARMONY revealed no obvious abnormality.
As Jockey Z Khairil had ridden his 151st winner on BELLA VELOCE today, he will not be entitled to any claims in future.

SACRED SURFER, a course scratching as it had sustained stoned bruised near hind foot, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
L’APPRENTI SORCIER which was up 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
TANNHAUSER (Z Khairil) stumbled on jumping away and in the straight, again stumbled on several occasions. As a result, Jockey Z Khairil was unable to ride the gelding out in his normal manner.
NOVA SWISS (App P Haris) and RELAU STAR (App S Saddam) bumped on jumping away.
Post-race veterinary examinations of NOVA SWISS and WHITE CHIN (AK Lim) revealed that these geldings had returned with respiratory distress and sustained a superficial cut to its near hind respectively. NOVA SWISS will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet) and WHITE CHIN will be required to pass a veterinary examination both before being declared to race again.
