RACE 1 (R284) CLASS 5 – 1000m(sc) – RUSSIAN REVOLUTION HANDICAP
HEAVENLY GIFT, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
App KC Wong was certified fit by the Club Medical Officer to resume riding.
SNOW DANCER (Lou Ho) jumped away awkwardly.
LEE’S SURPRISE (S Salee) was slow to begin and showed no early pace.
ONE MORE ACHIEVER (R Rueven) shifted in on jumping away and as a result, BOLD PASSION (CK Tan) was checked and lost ground.
HUN YEANG SQUARE stumbled at the 800M and unbalanced its rider and shortly thereafter, App S Hafis was dislodged. After being dislodged, HUN YEANG SQUARE shifted out, resulting in PERFECT RUN (App L De Souza) and ONE MORE ACHIEVER taken wider on the track. Shortly thereafter, LEE’S SURPRISE which was following, had to be steadied to avoid the fallen rider.
Over the final 100M, HUN YEANG SQUARE which was riderless, ran out, hampering and taking I’M A GENIUS (S Anandan) and SNOW DANCER wider.
App S Hafis, the rider of HUN YEANG SQUARE was exempted from weighing-in, examined by the Club Medical Officer and was certified fit. He was shown the vision of the race in the presence of his master Trainer I.Ismadi.
A post-race veterinary examination of HUN YEANG SQUARE revealed no obvious abnormality.
Z Khairil, the rider of SUN MIRACLE was dislodged after the finish and was exempted from weighing-in, as the gelding had collapsed and died. The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that a post-mortem on SUN MIRACLE will be conducted.

RACE 2 (R285) CLASS 5 – 1200m(sc) – PRESS STATEMENT HANDICAP
Trainer HS Lim was fined RM100/- under MRA 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on HANDSOME BAB (HK Cheng).
After being placed in the barrier, WHISPERINTHEWIND (App J Daniel) broke through the front of the gates, damaged barrier 7 and galloped a considerable distance. After being apprehended, WHISPERINTHEWIND was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was declared unfit to start and as such, the gelding was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 2.20pm. WHISPERINTHEWIND will be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again.
This race was further delayed 13 minutes to accommodate the running of Race 3 at Singapore Turf Club.
SCRAT (TM Wan) shifted in on jumping away, tightening GET THE LOTSKI (App KC Wong) onto HANDSOME BAB and as a consequence, all those horses were all slow into stride and showed no early pace.
Post-race veterinary examinations of GET THE LOTSKI and HANDSOME BAB revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Starter advised the Panel of Stewards that barrier 7 is under repair.

RACE 3 (R286) COSMO B (SW) – 1400m(sc) – CHINA HORSE CLUB FRIENDSHIP TROPHY
DARCI GLITTER, a course scratching as it was sore in its off fore lower tendon, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
HAPPY SIXTYSIX (S Anandan) was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 3.03pm, acting on veterinary advice that the gelding had sustained an injury to its left stifle. HAPPY SIXTYSIX will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Q NINE MAGIC (R Rueven) broke through the barrier on two occasions, underwent veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.
LUKE MAN (F Yap) shifted in on jumping away and bumped CELERITAS (SU Lim).
Post-race veterinary examinations of ROYAL EXPLORER (Z Khairil), PISCES STAR (App L De Souza) and PURPLE RAIN LADY (S Sandana) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R287) ENRICH STAKES A (SW) – 1100m(str) – AUSTRALIA STAKES
SHANGHAI BUND which was down 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
TILSWORTH FREDDIE (S Ipek) raced ungenerously throughout.
The Panel of Stewards adjourned the inquiry into the riding of RELAU STAR (S Sandana) to a date to be fixed.
Post-race veterinary examinations of TILSWORTH FREDDIE and D’GREAT CONQUEROR revealed no obvious abnormality.

Emergency acceptor CHERISH was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
Trainer Evert van Breukelen agreed to a request from Jockey R Rueven to be replaced on MARINI WALTZ. The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey Y Aify to replace Jockey R Rueven as the rider of MARINI WALTZ.
MISTER MIYAGI which was up 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
GOLDEN DIAMOND (App S Rosmizan) was slow to begin.
SILVER WIND (Lou Ho) was checked shortly after the start when brushed by LARCENY (S Sandana) on its inside and then by MARINI WALTZ (Y Aify) on its outside and as a consequence, lost its position.
Post-race veterinary examinations of D’GREAT SPIRIT (App AK Lim), TRIPLE ONE D’GREAT (App L De Souza) and LION CONQUEROR (SU Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality.

LUCK DRAGON, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised left knee, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SING ENERGY which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
SECRET SPICE (App S Rosmizan) was slow to begin.
SING ENERGY (HS Gill) raced keenly and was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
Jockey Z Khairil, the rider of MESSI reported that his mount could not handle the going.
Post-race veterinary examinations of LUCK HAPPY (SU Lim) and TOKO (J Mallyon) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 7 (R290) CLASS 4 – 1400m (lc) – DISSIDENT HANDICAP
ORION, a course scratching as it had fever, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
LIKE A JET (J Mallyon) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and passed fit to start.
The saddle on FOURVIERE (App S Saddam) was re-adjusted behind the barriers.
D’GREAT TALENT (HK Cheng) shifted in racing to the 250M, resulting in HALO INSPIRE (App P Mogun) having to be steadied inward, taking SUPER DRAGON (F Yap) across the heels of LIKE A JET which had shifted out.
D’GREAT TALENT shifted in again at the 150M and bumped LIKE A JET which had to be steadied. Jockey HK Cheng, the rider of D’GREAT TALENT was shown the vision of the race. The Panel of Stewards accepted his attempt to stop and straighten the gelding and as such, no further action was taken.
Post-race veterinary examinations of HALO INSPIRE, FOURVIERE and US DOLLAR (TM Wan) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 8 (R291) CLASS 5 – 1200m (lc) – FIRST SEAL HANDICAP
MISS BLANCHETT and ONE FOR ALL, both course scratching as they had both sustained bruised off fore fetlock and SIR RALLY, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore sole, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
BANDA SEA (J De Souza) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and passed fit to start.
The start of this race was delayed when the near fore plate on BANDA SEA had to be re-shod behind the barriers.
MULTIBLUE TOSCA (App P Mogun) which broke through the front of the gates, was apprehended and examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to start.
This race was further delayed to accommodate the running of Race 9 at Singapore Turf Club.
CLASSIC KING (Z Khairil) jumped away awkwardly.
GOLDEN EMPIRE (App M Sathiaa) was slow to begin.
App KC Tham, the rider of EMPIRE BAY was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for dropping his whip at the 400M. The Panel of Stewards adjourned the inquiry into the riding of EMPIRE BAY (App KC Tham) to a date to be fixed.
Jockey J Chuah, the rider of GLORY AGE reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of GLORY AGE revealed no obvious abnormality.
App M Sathiaa, the rider of GOLDEN EMPIRE reported that his mount could not handle the going.
The Panel of Stewards adjourned the inquiry into the improved performance of WE’RE THE WORLD (TM Wan) to a date to be fixed.
A post-race veterinary examination of SUPERB SEVEN (HK Cheng) revealed no obvious abnormality.
