TIPPING POINT (no 2) drew a lot attention when (after finishing second in his debut) he blew his rivals away to win by seven lengths in an Open Maiden event over 1100m at Sungei Besi last month.

Since then, things are definitely pointing upwards for this New Zealand four-year-old.

A week ago, the son of Highly Recommended made all the running to win a Class 4 – 1400m handicap and was pitted against a little tougher opposition in a Max Two event over 1300m today.

Still, TIPPING POINT justified his favourite tag when he again showed the way home, although this time ROCKET PEGASUS raced stride-for-stride with him in the final 400m. TIPPING POINT won a head.

“Sharudin Uzair rode him well,” said trainer Lawson Moy after his charge completed a hattrick. Uzair, who is indentured to Moy, has ridden the gelding all his four runs so far.

“TIPPING POINT has done really well for his first preparation and the future looks quite exciting for him moving forward.”

TIPPING POINT is a half-brother to D’GREAT EMPRESS who has won four races in Malaysia.
