I ISMADI
I Ismadi is a former jockey who rode a total of 171 winners before he hung up his boots in 2008. Keen to pursue a career within the horse racing industry, he first joined trainer Hah Kee Choy’s stable as a Senior Track Rider the same year. He was upgraded to the status of Stable Supervisor in 2009. He was subsequently transferred to Trainer Evert Breukelen.
In 2010 whilst still working under Trainer Evert Breukelen, he obtained his Assistant Trainer licence. He continued to work as an Assistant Trainer under the employment trainer Peter Lee for a period of 9 months.
He was granted a Grade A Trainer Licence by Malayan Racing Association in 5 January 2014. As of todate Ismadi has had a total of 44 years of working experience in the racing industry out of which a total of 8 years as a Professional Trainer.
