RACE 1 (R532) CLASS 5 (A) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)

ELF’S DREAM (App S Sia) jumped awkwardly, lost considerable ground and trailed the field.

READY TO RULE (S Ruzaini) bounded when the start was effected, losing ground.

In the early stages, AGNI (J Low) raced fiercely and was taken wide.

Passing the 150M, TRINITY TARZAN (SU Lim) shifted inwards when crowded by GORDON G (J De Souza) and bumped with JEFFREY (App AR Aiman) which rolled out.

App K Pavinthran (COLCHESTER) was questioned as to the reason he used the whip on the gelding. The Stewards reminded App K Pavinthran that he had to qualify and gain permission prior to using the whip.

A post-race veterinary examination of DAYFLIRT (App N Varmah) revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R533) CLASS 4 (B) – 1100M (SHORT COURSE)

O’REILLY’S DANCER (J Low) was slow to begin.

JUNIOR (J De Souza) stumbled on jumping.

In the early stages, READY TO ROLL (KC Wong) raced wide.

WARRIOR KING (AK Lim) raced wide from the 700M until straightening.

App S Uzair (LOOKS GOOD) reported that his saddle slipped backwards near the 400M.

POWERFUL FIGHTER (App L De Souza) laid inwards near the 250M when struck with the whip.

RACE 3 (R534) OPEN MAIDEN (WFA) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)

Acting on veterinary advice that NOVA BATTLE (J Low) was lame off fore, the gelding was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 1:10pm. NOVA BATTLE will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

KALA GHODA (J Shankar) shifted outwards at the start, bumping MR LEONARDO (R Shafiq).

Running to the 900M, KALA GHODA shifted in causing MAHARIB (App AR Aiman) to be steadied.

SUN COIN (SU Lim) raced wide in the middle stages until straightening.

RACE 4 (R535) CLASS 3 – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)

DRAGON HIGH (App A Suriya) was slow to begin.

After jumping awkwardly, SONG THE MOON (App AR Aiman) lost ground.

BACH’S AIR (AK Lim) raced wide throughout. Jockey AK Lim was advised that he should attempt to secure a better position for his mounts.

RACE 5 (R536) MAX TWO STAKES (SW) – 1300M (LONG COURSE)

An objection was lodged by Jockey J Shankar, the rider of BAADSHAH, placed fourth, against CUBAN HEEL (S Ruzaini), placed second, on the grounds of alleged interference at about the 100M. After considering the evidence, the Racing Stewards upheld the objection. The placings were amended to read:

No. 2 – SEMANTAN PRINCE (Z Zuriman)

No. 3 – BAADSHAH (J Shankar)

No. 4 – CUBAN HEEL (S Ruzaini)

MOONSHINE MISTRESS (App AR Aiman) and SIEW YUK (C Goon) were slow to begin.

Approaching the 900M, SENA FORTYTHREE (HS Gill) raced fiercely.

WATCH THE THRONE (J Low) shifted out passing the 200M, carrying BAADSHAH (J Shankar) outwards. Shortly after this, CUBAN HEEL (S Ruzaini) commenced to hang in badly and inconvenienced BAADSHAH. In light of this, Trainer M Sukri (CUBAN HEEL) was advised that CUBAN HEEL will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

When making ground in the straight, CALL ME INVINCIBLE (Y Aify) had to be steadied when tightened on the inside of SEMANTAN PRINCE (Z Zuriman) over the final 100M when that gelding was allowed to shift in. Jockey Z Zuriman was reprimanded for failing to straighten his mount.

A post-race veterinary examination of MOONSHINE MISTRESS revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

CHIPS (J De Souza) bounded at the start, losing ground.

METAGROSS (KC Wong) was slow into stride.

App A Najib (VALUE OF JUSTICE) was questioned as to the reason he used the whip on the gelding. The Stewards reminded App A Najib that he had to qualify and gain permission prior to using the whip.

This race was rescheduled to start at 4:50pm.

DIRECTOR (HS Gill) raced wide in the early stages.

Approaching 800M, SACRED EMPIRE (App A Nazir) had to ease off the heels of BE SAFE (J Daniel). App A Nazir (SACRED EMPIRE) was questioned as to the reason he used the whip on the gelding. The Stewards reminded App A Nazir that he had to qualify and gain permission prior to using the whip.

RACE 8 (R539) CLASS 4 (A) – 1700M (LONG COURSE)

GASSUR (KC Wong) raced fiercely in the early stages.

Jockey Y Aify was questioned as to the reason why he had taken LA FAMILIA outwards at the 900M, and he travelled extremely wide until straightening. The Stewards adjourned the inquiry into Jockey Y Aify’s riding of LA FAMILIA to a date to be fixed.

A post-race veterinary examination of LA FAMILIA revealed no significant finding. LA FAMILIA (Y Aify) took the turn into the straight wide.

A post-race veterinary examination of FIRST PASSTHEPOST (R Rueven) revealed no significant finding.

NOVA SPIRIT (J De Souza), GHOST BAY (HS Gill) and RAMZES (Y Aify) were slow to begin.

Approaching the 1100M, SILENT PRINCE (SU Lim) struck the running rail.

COMMODORE LINCOLN (S Ruzaini) and RAMZES (Y Aify) raced wide.

MR CONNERY (App L De Souza) was inclined to lay inwards in the straight when struck with the whip.

At the 250M, NOVA SPIRIT shifted out causing ROOTER (App CK Khaw) to be steadied.

STREET CHAMP (App A Suriya) was slow to begin.

MEWTWO (C Goon) was slow into stride.

In the early stages, ORION (App CK Khaw) raced wide.

Jockey SU Lim (TRINITY REVIVAL) was reprimanded for using his whip forward of the shoulder and advised to moderate his whip usage.
