RACE 1 (R1112) CLASS 5 B – 1200M (LC C4)

3	ASIAN TIGER (KC Tham)	Raced wide throughout and stopped quickly in the straight. Rider explained that the gelding had failed to show its customary speed and in the straight, despite hard riding, had faded. Vet Inspection: No significant finding. Impounded. Poor performance – 1000M/Vet.
5	THE SWAN (App R Nuqman)	Brushed near the 75M. Returned cast off fore plate.
6	CAPTAIN LEGACY (S Ruzaini)	Shifted outwards, making contact with runner at the 75M.
7	D’GREAT WIN (App I Fikri)	Vet inspection: Lame off fore – 1000M/vet (2 weeks embargo)
8	BRISTOL DIAMOND (HS Gill)	Restless before the start, jumped awkwardly outwards and dipped, losing ground.
10	D’GREAT RISE (L De Souza)	Laid in under the whip and had to be straightened at the 400M.

RACE 2 (R1113) CLASS 5 B – 1200M (LC C4)

2	MADE IN CHINA (S Ruzaini)	Bumped at the start, was carried wide and raced wide thereafter. Vet inspection: Lame off fore – 1000M/vet (2 weeks embargo)
3	SECRET AGENT (WW Cheah)	Laid outwards at the start.
4	BIG LAWYER (App R Nuqman)	Jumped awkwardly and was inclined to race wide.
5	BINTANG TIMOR (App I Fikri)	Tightened marginally at the start. Returned cast off fore plate.
6	SING ROULETTE (KP Lim)	Raced fiercely in the early stages.
7	LEGEND NINETY TWO (L De Souza)	Jumped awkwardly, striking the outside gate and was thereafter squeezed, losing ground.
9	SMART MASTER (App M Ekdihar)	Hind quarters bumped heavily on jumping.

Trainer KF Coetzee was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to declare the use of special plates on YULONG DREAM within the prescribed time.

RACE 3 (R1114) CLASS 5 A – 1600M (LC C4)

1	GOLDEN SHOW (A Suriya)	Had to be restrained near the 450M and was inclined to hang inwards thereafter.
2	TRAFALGAR (App M Ekdihar)	Bumped heavily shortly after the start, shifted outwards, crowded slightly near the 600M and was tightened, having to be restrained near the 350M.
6	JET BLACK (App R Nuqman)	Shifted outwards near the 450M, crowding runner. Laid inwards considerably near the 350M causing runner to be restrained. Rider was reprimanded for failing to straighten his mount.
8	TIN’S MACHINE (App M Lukman)	Sat back prior to the start, blocked for a clear run and had to be steadied near the 350M.
10	SOON YOU THINK (HS Gill)	Pulled hard in the early stages and shifted in off the heels near the 350M.

RACE 4 (R1115) CLASS 5 B – 1600M (LC C4)

1	CHER (App M Ekdihar)	Slow into stride. After jumping awkwardly, was held tight between the 900M and the 700M.
2	ORDOS LEGEND (J Low)	Raced fiercely in the early stages and shifted in, bumping runner near the 1300M.
5	SUPREME SUCCESS (App R Nuqman)	Raced wide throughout.
9	MR GUN GUN (App I Fikri)	After commencing well, the gelding commenced to pig- root near the 1500M. In light of this, the Trainer was advised that the gelding will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
10	OVERSEER (S Ruzaini)	Bumped awkwardly, losing ground and after being bumped heavily at the 1300M, commenced to race fiercely.

Veered in, had to be restrained off heels at the start, then raced fiercely, throwing its head and raced wide from the 750M.

RACE 7 (R1118) SUPREME B – 1100M (SC C4)

2	THE MAREEBA MANGO (WW Cheah)	Was standing awkwardly and jumped poorly, thereby losing ground. Inclined to lay out on the first turn and restrained off the heels of runner near the 225M. *(See Report)
6	TOPMOST (App S Shazmin)	Which was tiring, eased when crossed near the 200M.
7	SILENT BOSS (J Low)	Raced wide throughout.
8	DABBLE (HS Gill)	Raced keen in the early stages and inclined to lay inwards over the final 200M.
10	TIPPING POINT (App I Fikri)	Raced wide in the middle stages when over-racing.

Jockey WW Cheah was questioned regarding the veracity of his whip use on THE MAREEBA MANGO particularly in the concluding stages. He advised that every individual action had resulted in contact and although that he changed his styles on certain horses, he did so in an endeavour to obtain the best from each horse with that style. Although accepting this explanation, the Stewards reminded Jockey WW Cheah that he is expected to fully test his mount and that his riding style must remain consistently positive.

RACE 8 (R1119) OPEN MAIDEN – 1100M (SC C4)

1	FANTASTIC (A Suriya)	Jumped awkwardly with rider striking its right shoulder in the gate when exiting. The gelding then became unbalanced in the straight.
2	HEX MARK (App H Haikal)	Crowded near the 600M and was inconvenienced near the 150M after being taken inwards.
3	ARAGON PEGASUS (App M Lukman)	Had to be restrained when attempting a run on the fence near the 250M.
4	NATUREISSPEAKING (KC Tham)	Shifted in between the 275M and the 200M, crowding runner. Rider warned that he must straighten his mount more readily.
5	DIGGING EIGHT (AB Riduan)	Unruly in the stalls prior to the start and jumped awkwardly with its saddle slipping sideways, placing the rider at a considerable disadvantage. Raced wide and fiercely throughout and in the straight, inclined to be erratic and had to be steadied when crowded near the 200M.
6	CHARMING WIN (J Low)	Shifted out, inconveniencing runner near the 125M.
7	EL CHUBASCO (HS Gill)	Withdrawn at 4:25pm: Refused to be loaded. In light of its continued conduct, the colt will be required to pass 2 Starting Stall tests before being declared to race again.
8	FLYING WARRIOR (App I Fikri)	Raced greenly in the straight and inconvenienced runner when shifting out quickly near the 175M and was then inclined to lay inwards.
9	STARLIGHT GLIMMER (S Ruzaini)	Raced erratically in the straight.
10	SUNNY DAY (S Hafis)	Inclined to lay inwards from the 150M and had to be steadied to avoid heels when runners shifted out at the 100M. *(See Report)

Trainer S Dunderdale was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to declare the use of cross-nose band on CHARMING WIN within the prescribed time.

App M Seelan (FLYING WARRIOR) was fined RM250/- under MRA Rule 107(10) for failing to make the carded weight. The Stewards granted permission for App I Fikri to replace App M Seelan on FLYING WARRIOR.

Jockey S Hafis (SUNNY DAY) was fined RM500/- under MRA Rule 41(6)(c)(i) for using his whip forward of the shoulder.
