At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey CK Khaw, the rider of PULSE BOMB, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PULSE BOMB, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to NAUGHTY KID at the 1000M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey CK Khaw’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record, and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) race day, to be served on 18 July 2026, and was also fined RM 1,500/- to be paid before his next race meeting, in default of which he shall serve an additional one (1) day suspension. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of BANKER’S EMPIRE, Trainer BT LIM explained that in his opinion, the improvement was due to the addition of blinkers and tongue tie today. He also stated that at its previous start, the gelding was caught wide throughout the race. The Panel noted his explanation.

Trainer J Tan was fined RM1000/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to submit the Application for Leave of Absence within the prescribed time.
TUESDAY, 7 JULY 2026, SLTC TRACKWORK
Trainer D Kok was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for galloping FOREVER SIXTY-ONE on Track II on the above date, which had been designated only for horses engaged to race in that week’s SLTC race meeting.
RACE 7 (R0494) CLASS 2 – 1400M (LC A), SUNDAY, 5 JULY 2026, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2026
Trainer BT Lim was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to declare the removal of Blinkers and use of Visors on BANKER’S BOSS.
Jockey J Kamaruddin (BANKER’S BOSS) was fined RM250/- under MRA Rule 41(7) in that his horse was equipped with a defective gear (saddle).

No prohibited substances were detected.

No prohibited substances were detected.
REPORT OF ANALYSIS ON CLEARING SAMPLE:
A Clearing Sample taken from OLYMPIA on 28 June 2026, was analyzed and reported to be negative to Prohibited Substances and as such, the Stewards cleared OLYMPIA to resume racing under the provisions of MRA Rule 134(12).
