Jockeys AK Lim and Jai Shankar were in great form as they rode two winners each. AK Lim rode KP Hoy trained Maple Rising to win in the opening event and guided Siva trained Nevertheless to win Race 9.
While Shankar has been consistent in riding winners after making a comeback, rode Isfahan to win in Race 7 and Aljawhra to win in Race 8 and both horses were trained by AB Abdullah.

Riders with a single winner were A Suriya (Bangalore, Race 2), Calvin Goon (Buffalo Soldier, Race 3), S Ruzaini (Grand Knight, Race 4), Apprentice L De Souza (Metier Star, Race 5), Jackson Low (Watch The Throne, Race 6) and KC Wong (Orion, Race 10).


Trainers SY Lim, AB Abdullah and Richard Lines shared the honours with double winners each respectively from the card of ten races at the Selangor Turf Club Race Meeting on Saturday.
SY Lim saddled Buffalo Soldier to win in Race 3 and took the following event with Grand Knight.
While AB Abdullah managed to saddle his two winners in Race 7 with Isfahan and Aljawhra in Race 8.
Leading trainer Richard Lines’s double were in Race 5 with Metier Star and in the last event with Orion.
Trainers with a single winner were: KP Hoy saddled Maple Rising in Race 1 and Charles Leck’s winner came in Race 2 with Bangalore.
First season trainer HY Cheng saddled unbeaten Watch The Throne to win in Race 6 and Trainer Sivakumar saddled Nevertheless to win in Race 9.
