Leading trainer Richard Victor Lines looks set to bag his 11th Trainers’ Championship title for this season.
At the one day special meeting last Sunday at Selangor Turf Club, the Englishman once again dominated when saddled three winners from the card of nine races and up till now has saddled 67 winners to date.
He began his quest in Race 2 with D’Great Song, then he saddled Symbol Of Courage to victory in Race 3 and sealed the day in Race 4 with Triple One Star.
Trainers with a single winner were Simon Dunderdale saddled Introit to win Race 1, HY Cheng saddled Shanghai Nights to score its sixth straight win in Race 5, Shane Ellis managed to saddle Dutrow to win in Race 6.
Trainer S Sivakumar’s Sacred Tonic captured Race 7, Charles Leck’s winner came in Race 8 with My Goodness and season trainer Malcolm Thwaites saddled Tail Spin to win Selangor Turf Club’s last race of the year.

Jockeys Jackson Low, S Ruzaini and Apprentice CK Khaw shared the honours with a double each respectively.

Jackson Low rode Simon Dunderdale’s Introit to win in Race 1 and then rode Shanghai Nights to victory in Race 5.
CK Khaw rode Symbol Of Courage to win in Race 3 and Sacred Tonic to win in Race 7.
While Ruzaini rode his double in Race 2 with D’Great Song and was on board Dutrow to win in Race 6.

Riders with a single winner were Apprentice Shawn Sia rode Triple One Star to win in Race 4, Apprentice K Pavinthran rode My Goodness to win in Race 8 and in Race 9 Apprentice A Suriya rode Tail Spin to victory.
