Consistent performer, MAGIC CAPTAIN receives his chance to atone for his last start defeat when he steps out in the 1075m Korea Racing Authority Trophy at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

MAGIC CAPTAIN didn’t disgrace when upgraded to Class 3 company, finishing runner up over 1100m after trying to lead throughout here a fortnight ago. That followed an Ipoh Class 4 win a month prior, his only victory in the country so far from eight local starts.

MAGIC CAPTAIN, who won on debut as a three year old in Australia, took a while adapting to local conditions since making his Malaysian debut in October last year. With current leading jockey Nuqman Rozi in the saddle, the gelding should prove hard to beat.
