Perth Racing conducted the running of the Selangor Turf Club Trophy at the Ascot Racecourse on Saturday, 4^th November 2023.

The 1200m race, carrying prize money of AUD80,000 and featuring 11 starters, was won by Saloon Bar  with Jockey Jarrad Noske astride.

Saloon Bar, jointly owned by Oakland Park Stud and Mrs C L Mortan, is a 4 year old Bay or Brown gelding from Australia trained by Daniel Morton, who is based at Ascot. Saloon Bar is sired by the stallion Sessions out of the dam Paris Cracker.

Selangor Turf Club Committee Member Mr Mahendran Ponniah represented the Club in Ascot. Mr Mahendran witnessed the running of the race and presented the prizes to the winning connections.
