Jockey S. Ruzaini was in great form when rode four winners at the conclusion of the Selangor Turf Club meeting on Sunday.
Booked for ten rides from the card of 12, Ruzaini, 31, showed his uncanny riding skills in Race 6 when he steered Charles Leck trained favourite Panda Bomb to win the Kenilworth Cup over 1200m.
He went on for his second on Frank Maynard’s Tiger Bay in a pillar to post win in the Cool Performer Stakes in Race 7.
He continued his winning streak in Race 8 with Jubilation where he beat What Iff in a very close finish.
He capped his fourth winner in Race 10 to capture this year’s Mitavite Cup with Frank Maynard trained Gadawon.
During the Selangor May race meeting held over 3 racing days, Ruzaini rode a total of eight winners from 27 mount with a strike rate of 29.6%, thus now is the leading Jockey in the Malaysian Racing Circuit with 26 winners.
Jockey M Ganesh is in second spot with 22 winners as he rode four winners in this May meeting including a win on Char Siew in Race 3 on 20 May.
