Progressive galloper RESURGENCE can atone for his recent defeat when he steps out in the 1775m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

RESURGENCE arrived from Singapore with two wins from twenty starts but created an immediate impression with a decisive victory at his local debut on August 28. The six year old was well found in the market that day when he reeled off a quick section from a rearward position to win over 1700m.

RESURGENCE raced closer on speed last outing before closing off well to finish runner up over the same trip here a fortnight ago. The New Zealand bred performer should display his quick turn of foot again this weekend and should prove hard to beat.
