Last year’s premier galloper LUCKY MAGIC returns to the race track and will be pitted against a quality lineup in the RM 100,000 CNY Prosperity Trophy at Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

LUCKY MAGIC will be first up since finishing 3rd behind KIM EMPEROR and BANKER’S TWO SIX in the 2000m G1 Piala Emas Sultan Selangor on December 7. The three-time Group One and Selangor Mile winner simply coasted and wasn’t overly taxed in his trial on Tuesday and will be primed first up.

His main nemesis could be PLATINUM EMPEROR which boasts an excellent local record of four wins from six start and returned in emphatic fashion with a fighting victory over 1200m three weeks ago.
