Six-year-old galloper LIM’S UNIQUE appears well placed to break through on the Malaysia circuit when he steps out in the 1100m Class 5 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

LIM’S UNIQUE will strip fitter following his local debut here on January 23 when resuming for the Lawson Moy yard. The gelding closed off well from midfield and hit the lead momentarily in the home straight before peaking over the 1250m journey.

LIM’S UNIQUE started 34 times in Singapore for three wins and was a consistent performer in Class 5 company over the past season, including his last victory just over a year ago. With the aid of a 3kg claim for apprentice jockey I Fikri, he should prove hard to beat.
