AB Abdullah trained Isfahan’s (Outer horse) winning break should come soon. The four-year-old by Casamento came with pulverising run at the finish but found the winner Oscar Eclipse a shade better to finish second in Race 7 on Sunday.
Trainer HY Cheng’s Shanghai Nights should be suited even on a longer trip. The five-year-old horse by Ferlax was just off the pace at the early part of the race and slipped along the rails in the run home and staved off the challenge from Buffalo Soldier and Maybe to win in Race 9 on Sunday. Keep a close watch.
Unbeaten, Watch The Throne trained by HY Cheng has the potential to race in top class soon, judging from the impressive victory in Class 4 (A) event over 1200m in Race 11 last Saturday. The nice looking five-year-old by Pins came with a beautiful run at the closing stage of the race to beat Nova Ranger close home.
Nova Falcon (outer horse) bears watching to race in a top class, judging from the win in Race 8 on Saturday. The six-year-old by Falkirk was well with the pace to beat Why Not easily.
