Trainer Shane Ellis’s Mr Hopkins reeled off its fourth straight win to capture the Razz Bar Wilayah Silver Bowl over 1800m in Race 8 last Sunday. The six-year-old grey by Mastercraftsman was in usual rear spot at the early part of the race and gradually moved up as the heads turn for home and came with a characteristic finish in the run home to beat Royal Explorer in a convincing manner. Mr Hopkins has proven to be a potential stayer and bears watching in the staying classic races this season.
Trainer Johnny Lim’s Billion Sense broke the ice in fine fashion in Race 7. Ridden by replacement rider, Y. Sakito who tucked the five-year-old by Helmet in midfield spot till the final run home to beat Allied Power at the post. More wins in store for Billion Sense.
Trainer AB Abdullah’s Radical Force ran true to form to win Race 5. The four-year-old by Bushranger was in close attendance with the early leaders and threw out the challenge to pip Sena Fortythree at the post. Keep a close watch on Radical Force and should be racing in better company.


Frank Maynard’s Leopard Eclipse should break the ice next start.
The three-year-old by Road To Rock was up with the early pace and battled out in the run home to finish third to King’s Order in Race 9.
