Trainer Richard Lines’s God Helps Me put up a tip top performance to win the Class 3 event over 1400m in Race 5. The six-year-old by Congrats was well up with the early pace and made a determined bid in the run home to win.
Trainer Tan Soo Beng’s Peer Gynt should be heading to race in a better company after an impressive third win in a row in Race 7. The seven-year-old by Per Incanto was switched on the outside in the run home to beat Create Abundance easily.
Trainer Simon Dunderdale’s Semantan Prince broke the ice in fine fashion in the open maiden event over 1300m. The four-year-old by Nadeem was tucked in handy spot at the early part of the race and clinched the lead at the top of the straight to win in a convincing manner. Should have more wins.
Shane Edwards trained Shenbao broke the ice in the last event and should have more wins in store. The five-year-old by Pour Moi was up with pace and beat off the challenges from Lining Together and Emperor Warrior to win. Keep a close watch.
Rakama trained by Simon Dunderdale deserve another chance when beaten close home by D’Great Rise at the shadows of the post. The four-year-old mare by Domesday was up with the pace and threw out the challenge in the run home but found the winner a shade too good.
