Seven year old galloper, I’M SMART GREY posted his first Malaysian victory in dominant fashion and is expected to repeat the dose in the 1300m Class 5 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

I’M SMART GREY, who formerly raced as Well Deserved, provided instant success for the inform HY Cheng stable after the gelding led throughout to score by 6.75 lengths here on January 23. It was the gelding’s first run for the camp following four unplaced efforts since resuming in October last year. 

I’M SMART GREY was well found in the market also when racing under his new name for the first time and despite the weight rise, looks a genuine chance of chalking up successive victories.
