The father son combination of Charles and Clyde Leck accrued five winners last weekend and that winning trend should continue when COUNTER ATTACK lines up in the 1300m Class 5 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

COUNTER ATTACK had displayed rapid improvement this preparation prior to breaking his maiden tag in a Class 5 event here at start number sixteen. The six year old dominated to lead throughout by eight lengths on a track which was prone to an on speed bias during the day.
COUNTER ATTACK, which has started favourite at his past four outings, had every chance when finishing 4th over 1200m here a fortnight ago but looks well placed to bounce back into winning form.

TOP GUN LOOKS TOP CHOICE
Former Australian galloper, TOP GUN appears well placed to break through in the 1100m Maiden contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
TOP GUN, from the inform Simon Dunderdale stable, was a fraction unlucky not to win at his only Malaysian start after being crowded at barrier rise. The four year old recovered quickly to settle on speed before finishing runner up behind form Kiwi Galloper Xaar over 1200m on November 20.
TOP GUN was first up for nine months following two unplaced efforts in Australia. However, the gelding has found his niche in the new environment and will strip much fitter in his quest to open the winning account.

SUSPICIOUS MIND TO OPEN ACCOUNT
Former New Zealand galloper, SUSPICIOUS MIND looks a genuine chance of recording his first victory when he steps out in the 1400m Open Maiden at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
SUSPICIOUS MIND debuted in a Matamata maiden back March this year, finishing unplaced. The lightly raced five year old joined the stable of Simon Dunderdale soon after and resumed from a seven month break when finishing runner up over 1200m on October 16.
SUSPICIOUS MIND was heavily supported to start a long odds on favourite here three weeks ago when beaten a neck over 1100m. The gelding has indicated he is looking for further and the rise to 1400m should pose no problem in his attempt to break the maiden tag.
