From the 250M mark, MEGA BLAZE was continuously carried out by HELLO HERO and brushed on numerous occasions.
A member of the Stipendiary Panel lodged an objection on behalf of MEGA BLAZE (S Ruzaini), placed third, against HELLO HERO (CK Khaw), placed second, on the grounds of interference from the 250M.
After considering the evidence in this matter, the Panel upheld the objection and amended the placing to:
1st – DREAM MA (L Riordan)
2nd – MEGA BLAZE (S Ruzaini)
3rd – HELLO HERO (CK Khaw)
4th – KNIGHT VALOR (KC Wong)
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey CK Khaw, the rider of HELLO HERO, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding HELLO HERO, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to MEGA BLAZE from the 250M to the finish, and DREAM MA in the concluding stages.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey CK Khaw’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) race day to be served on 5 April 2026. In lieu of one (1) race day, he was also fined RM1,500/- He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

GENERAL REPORT(S) – SLTC
INQUIRY CONCERNING URINE SAMPLE CODED “J-5214” WHICH WAS TAKEN ON SUNDAY, 8 FEBRUARY 2026 AT THE SELANGOR TURF CLUB FEBRUARY MEETING 2026, AND WAS FOUND TO CONTAIN “NORDAZEPAM”, WHICH IS A PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE IN TERMS OF MRA RULES
The Stewards conducted an Inquiry on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at the Selangor Turf Club, into the above matter. Evidence was taken from Jockey S John, from whom the sample was taken.
Jockey S John pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 136(3)(b) as he provided a sample of urine at the Selangor Turf Club on 8 February 2026 which disclosed, upon analysis, the presence of “Nordazepam”, which is a prohibited substance.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey S John’s guilty plea, the nature of the substance, mitigating factors, and his submissions on penalty. Jockey S John was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) months, backdated from 19 February 2026 and to expire on 18 April 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
