There are 3 full time coaches at STCEC. Each coach is qualified under the Equestrian Australia / Majlis Ekuin Malaysia Coach Qualification system and undergo regular coach development and updating every year.

Ong Wan Ming began her coaching career in 2001 at STCEC but started riding when she was 9 years old. In 2015, she took a year off from work to upgrade her coaching qualifications in Australia and successfully attained her Level 2 Dressage Specialist Qualifications from Equestrian Australia (EA). In July 2016, she was put on the list of FEI Dressage Judges at 2* level, the only Malaysian to receive this qualification. She enjoys coaching and judging, as well as competing in showjumping and dressage when time permits.

MEM/EA Level One Coach (Gen)
Zainal Sarif started his career at a young age over 20+ years ago. He received early training as a Groom at Awana Horse Ranch in Genting Highlands and has since worked various positions at different venues. He was hired initially as a Trainee Coach at STCEC and successfully attained qualifications as an MEM/EA Level One (Gen) in 2013. Zainal has vast competition experience, especially in the discipline of Eventing, where he competed successfully in many National events. Zainal is a very popular coach especially with kids and teenagers, as he makes his lessons fun.

Syamimi Rohaizad
Syamimi Rohaizad received early training as a groom at Terengganu Equestrian Resort in Kuala Terengganu but started riding she was 14 years old. She has since worked various positions as a groom to an instructor at different venues. In 2012, she took 3 months off from work to get coaching qualifications in Australia and successfully attained her Level 1 General Qualifications from Equestrian Australia. EA Level 1 General covers three disciplines which is showjumping, dressage and eventing.
