5	JANUARY (AL Da Silva)	Trainer S Hamilton was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours.
6	GALAXY BAR (Z Khairil)	Fly-jumped at the start. Eased at the 1100M. Returned cast near fore plate. *(See Report).

8	FLYING NEMO (O Chavez)	Rider lost his ride side stirrup iron at the start and regained it shortly thereafter.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App Z Syafifie, the rider of CONTARELLI, in the presence of his Employing Trainer’s representative, Trainer NM Selvaan, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding CONTARELLI he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to FORTUNE WHEEL and GALAXY BAR at the 1100M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App Z Syafifie’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days, to be deferred, with effect from 20 July 2025 and to expire on 27 July 2025, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey AK Lim, the rider of BLUE IDOL, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BLUE IDOL, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SILVER SAMURAI and CHEVAL PEGASUS between the 1300M and the 900M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey AK Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 14 July 2025 and to expire on 19 July 2025, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1500/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

GENERAL REPORT(S) – SLTC

RACE 5 (R0461) CLASS 4A – 1020M (Track II +4), SUNDAY, 6 JULY 2025, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2025

The Stewards, on Saturday, 12 July at SLTC, concluded a review into the running and handling of FLYING SUCCESS and took evidence from Jockey KC Wong, the rider of FLYING SUCCESS.

After reviewing the films of the incident and considering the evidence tendered, the Stewards decided to take no further action, however, highlighted the inconsistency of his riding.

App H Haikal was fined RM500/- for misconduct under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for smoking in the Jockeys’ room.

SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2025

The report dated 10 July 2025 (V25/105) from the Chief Analyst of Veterinary Forensic Laboratory stated that 38 coded urine and 40 sets of coded blood samples from the above mentioned race meeting were received on 6 July 2025, for analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations. No prohibited substances were detected.
