CHEVAL RAPIDE TO STRIKE BACK IN KL

Eight-year-old entire CHEVAL RAPIDE looks set to atone for his last start defeat when he steps out in the 1250m Class 3 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Following a career in Singapore which yielded six wins from 42 starts, CHEVAL RAPIDE has recaptured his best form in two runs since joining the Selangor stables of Simon Dunderdale this season. The Irish bred recorded a resounding victory first up over 1100m here on September 10 after a ten-month spell.

CHEVAL RAPIDE was a fraction unlucky last start after beginning moderately before powering home to finish 3rd behind the inform Alliance Captain. The gelding is yet to win beyond 1100m but the rise in distance should not be a problem judging by the way he closed off last start.
