At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey S Uzair, the rider of PRINCE LONHRO, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PRINCE LONHRO, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to OLYMPIA, RS DREAM, FORTUNE BABY and WINS EIGHT shortly after the start.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey S Uzair’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from 11 May 2026 and to expire on 17 May 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey R Nuqman, the rider of NEVER GIVE AN INCH, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding NEVER GIVE AN INCH, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to EBULLIENT and SHADOW DANCER at approximately the 1000M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey R Nuqman’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from 11 May 2026 and to expire on 17 May 2026, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

RACE 2 (R0346) CLASS 5A – 1775M (Track II +4), SUNDAY, 10 MAY 2026, SELANGOR TURF CLUB MAY MEETING 2026
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey A Azizi, the rider of WISEMAN, pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) in that whilst riding WISEMAN, he exceeded the permitted number of whip use in the race.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey A Azizi’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record his submissions on penalty, and after flagrant disregarding for the permitted number of whip use. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) race day, to be served 16 May 2026. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
RACE 4 (R0327) OPEN NOVICE – 1400M (LC A4), SUNDAY, 3 MAY 2026, SELANGOR TURF CLUB MAY MEETING 2026
After further consideration, the Panel of Stewards has decided to reduce Jockey PH Seow’s (PACIFIC FIGHTER) fine under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) to RM2,000/-.
RACE 6 (R0321) CLASS 4B – 1400M (LC E), SUNDAY, 26 APRIL 2026, SELANGOR TURF CLUB APRIL MEETING 2026
After further consideration, the Panel of Stewards has decided to reduce Jockey SU Lim’s (ANIKI) fine under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) to RM2,000/-.

The report dated 23 April 2026 (FAS-EDT-2026/V007) from the Chief Analyst of FORTRIS Analytical Services stated that 19 bottles of coded equine urine and 19 sets of coded blood sample from the above-mentioned race meeting were received on 18 April 2026, for analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations. No prohibited substances were detected.
