Trainers, Lawson Moy, Simon Dunderdale and Charles Leck shared the training honours with a double each in the eight card race at Selangor Turf Club on Saturday.
Lawson Moy has moved into second spot with 10 winners, just two winners behind trainer Richard Lines, started off with What ridden by Apprentice S.Uzair winning Race 2 and War Dragon with regular rider Y. Aify winning Race 5.Simon Dunderdale’s double were from Sand Bank in Race 3 ridden by Rueven and First Precinct ridden by R. Shafiq winning Race 6Charles Leck’s two winners were Flying Shadow by SU Lim winning Race 4 and Ausone with Ruzaini winning Race 8.
Trainer Mohd Sukri took the opening event with Red Rackham breaking its maiden status, ridden by Salee while Shane Ellis continued his winning ways and saddled a winner with Mr Hopkins ridden by Ruzaini to win Race 7.
Leading Jockey, S Ruzaini was the star performer when rode two winners in Race 7 with Mr Hopkins and took the last event with Ausone. Jockeys with a single winners were, Salee on Red Rackham in the opener, followed by Apprentice S. Uzair on What winning the next race, R. Rueven won on Sand Bank in Race 3, Y. Aify with War Dragon in Race 5 and R. Shafiq winning on First Precinct Race 6 which was his only mount for the day.
