Trainer Frank Maynard increased his tally of winners to 59 and currently in the second spot when saddled a double from the card of ten races at Selangor Turf Club last Sunday. Maynard’s first win came in Race 4 with Sacred Galaxy piping Shoqeet at the post to win. His second win was in Race 7 with Fusing Power.
Trainers with a single winner are; Sivakumar (Gold Power, Race 1), Charles Leck (Shanghai Nights, Race 2), Johnny Lim (Lim’s Keyway, Race 3), AB Abdulllah (Radical Force, Race 5), MW Teh (Bakuteh, Race 6), PS Kumaran (Ladrone, Race 8), Simon Dunderdable (D’Great Boss, Race 9) and leading trainer Richard Lines (Fledgeling, Race 10).
Leading Jockey HS Gill was in great form when secured a treble in the card of 10 races at Selangor Turf Club last Sunday. He started his quest for winners in Race 2 with Charles Leck trained Shanghai Nights, in the following race with Lim’s Keyway, trained by Johnny Lim and capped a great day in Race 5 with AB Abdullah trained Radical Force.
Jockey R.Shafiq and Apprentice L De Souza rode a double each.
While apprentice L De Souza’s two winners were in Race 4 with Frank Maynard trained Sacred Galaxy and rode Richard Lines trained Fledgeling to win in Race 10.Shafiq steered Sivakumar trained Gold Power in the opening event and his second winner came in Race 9 with Simon Dunderdale trained D’Great Boss. Jockeys with a single win were S.Muniandy onMW Teh trained Bakuteh in Race 6, Jackson Low rode Fusion Power trained by Maynard to win in Race 7 and Panamanian rider Oscar Chavez guided Ladrone, trained by PS Kumaran to win in Race 8.
