First season trainer AB Abdullah continued his quest when saddled three winners in the Card of 10 races at the one day Selangor Turf Club race meeting last Sunday. The soft spoken Abdullah got his winner in Race 7 with Sahaba (Ruzaini), the following event with Showar (Pinheiro) and capped a great day in the last event with Ashhab (Pinheiro).Trainer SY Lim saddled a double with Musang King (Y. Aify) in Race 2 and Audacious (Pinheiro) in Race 4.
Trainers with a single winner were Perak Based trainer Kevin Coetzee (Laus Deo, L De Souza, Race 6), Richard Lines (Catapult, L De Souza, Race 4), Shane Edwards (Beijing Star, Y. Aify, Race 1) and S Dunderdale (Callixtus, Jose De Souza, Race 9).
Jockeys Y Aify and Brazilian B Pinheiro took the riding honours with three winners each respectively in the Card of 10 races. Aify took the opening event with Shane Edward trained Beijing Star and the following event with SY Lim trained Musang King and capped a great day with Lawson Moy trained Hello Boss in Race 5.While Pinheiro rode Audacious to win in Race 4, trained by SY Lim, Showar in Race 8 and Ashhab in the last event both trained by AB Abdullah.
Fellow Brazilian apprentice jockey L De Souza rode a double in Race 3 with Catapult trained by Richard Lines and Laus Deo in Race 6, trained by Kevin Coetzee.
Jockey Jose De Souza rode Callixtus to win in Race 9, while Ruzaini rode Sahaba to win in Race 7 respectively.
