Six year old gelding THE STAR appears set to add another victory to his impressive local tally when he lines up in the 1020m Class 4A contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

THE STAR has rapidly progressed through the grades since winning on his local debut in October last year recording four wins and three minor placings from seven Malaysian starts. The Lawson Moy trained galloper recorded arguably his softest win last start when dashing clear to score by 5.5 lengths over 1100m here three weeks ago.

THE STAR has been a fruitful money spinner for his owners, the Buffalo Stable and is a genuine chance to tick off another Class 4 graded contest come Sunday.
