The Selangor Turf Club will be hosting the STCEC Annual Horse Show at the Equestrian Centre from 25th to 28th November 2021. In conjunction with the Show, the Club will be collaborating with the Equestrian Association of Malaysia (EAM) in organizing the final round of the FEI Jumping World Challenge to be held on Saturday, 27th November 2021.

At the close of entry, the Show has received participation of 50 horses from 14 clubs, to compete in the various Classes of Show Jumping and Dressage over the four days, covering the Junior and Senior categories.

The Show is sanctioned by Equestrian Association of Malaysia (EAM) and International Federation of Equestrian Sports (FEI) and are sponsored by Totalisator Board of Malaysia, Optimax Eye Specialist, Malaysian Horseshoes Sdn Bhd, Sungei Besi Autoworld, Marine Treasure, MRBPR Horse Transport, Equestrian Support Services and Pacific Horseland.

The FEI Jumping World Challenge is organized to provide an opportunity to the less experienced Jumping riders who under normal circumstances are unable to participate in international Jumping competitions and live in remote countries. They are able to compete internationally without having to leave their own country.

The competition is divided into 10 geographical zones and there are 3 different height categories.

Category A : 1.20metres -1.30 metres

Category B : 1.10metres -1.20 metres

Category C : 1.00metres-1.10 metres

The first and second round of the FEI Jumping World Challenge were held at the Club earlier this month.

In an effort to encourage more participation from Malayan Racing Association (MRA) registered ex-racehorses in equestrian disciplines and also to give them a second career, the Show has designated 4 classes of competition. These 4 classes are for ex-racehorses that have been deleted for 3 years or less, and for horses deleted more than 3 years. There is also a bonus prize of RM100 for each class if ex-racehorse is placed in the top 5 placings of the selected classes. The bonus prize money is sponsored by the Selangor Trainers Association.
