Korea Racing Authority (KRA) hosted the running of the Selangor Turf Club reciprocal race at Seoul Racecourse on Saturday, 6th September 2025.

Committee Member, Mr Rodney Cheah together with SLTC General Manager and Secretary, Mr Kwang Eng Seong represented the Selangor Turf Club at the event and Mr Rodney Cheah presented the prizes to the winning connection. Captain P K owned by Mr Park Jeong Jae and trained by Mr Song Moon Gil captured the Selangor Turf Club Trophy with Jockey Moon Se Young astride.

The race was held on the weekend of KRA International Racing Carnival featuring the running the prestigious 2025 OBS Korea Cup and Korea Sprint on 7th September. The participation of SLTC delegates at the International Racing Carnival symbolize the strong and growing relationship between the horse racing communities of Malaysia and South Korea.

SLTC delegation itinerary also included meetings with KRA officials to discuss mutual interests and the future development of thoroughbred racing in the region and the possibilities of commencing International Racing between the two nations in the near future.
