Trainer NM Selvan saddled a double on the Saturday meeting of the double header this weekend with Our Secret Weapon impressing in race 7 with a 2 1/4 length win. He is certainly one of the more consistent horses in training in Malaysia at the moment with only one run where he finished outside of the quartet from ten starts in the country. Z Khairil was the jockey aboard the Selvan double as he rode Golden Sentience to victory in the last.

It was a two horse race on form and according to the market as both Grand Supreme and Golden Sentience found all the betting support but it was the latter that came home as the victor despite racing wide throughout. He showed a quick turn of foot when Grand Supreme moved up to him but it was only for a brief moment as Golden Sentience drew away from the field to win by the same margin as Our Secret Weapon. 

Trainer T Mahadi opened up his Malaysian account with Genrich in the penultimate race of the afternoon which certainly will be a landmark day for the trainer. Leading the trainers championship J Ong also celebrated a double on the day with Behind Player as well as the consistent Outfit with R Shafiq in the saddle for both of the runners. 

Racing returns tomorrow for a twelve race program concurrent with Hong Kong as well. The first is off at 12;30pm local time.
