Trainer Frank Maynard’s Gadawon, displayed a tip top performance with a brilliant pillar to post victory in this year’s running of Mitavite Cup in Race 10.
The seven-year-old by Commands with Jockey Ruzaini aboard jumped out very well and led all the way till the final stages of the race to stave off the challenge from Paltrow and Lolita to win the race.
Keep an eye on Frank Maynard’s newcomer Lolita, who performed a great outing to finish third to stablemate Gadawon.
The six-year-old English Mare by Sir Percy, had her first start and showed potential for a top class horse in the making.
Keep a close watch on Paltrow, who finished a creditable second in race.
The six-year-old by Thorn Park, was handy most of the way but found the winner too good.  He should return to winning circle soon.
