Promising five-year-old FLYING DURUMI will strip fitter second-up from a spell as he searches for a return victory in the 1200m Class 3 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Since winning his maiden on debut in January last year, FLYING DURUMI has progressed through the grades posting four wins and four placings from ten starts. The American bred appeared short of a run when resuming a fortnight ago, finishing fourth over 1400m against a strong Class 3 lineup.

FLYING DURUMI has won twice in three starts over the 1200m trip while jockey Ruzaini Supien possesses the same record aboard the gelding. Despite drawing barrier nine, the combination will prove hard to beat this weekend.
