The Selangor Turf Club will be hosting its race meetings on Sunday, 18th and 25th October 2020.

Consistent with the Government’s effort to curb the spike of Covid-19 cases in the Klang Valley, the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from 14th October to 27th October 2020 was implemented by the Authorities.

In supporting the government’s effort to stop the chain of infection from spreading, the Club will not telecast night races on Wednesday, 14th and 21st October. Furthermore, public admission will not be allowed into the Club on Saturday, 17th and Sunday, 18th October. Only Members of the Club are allowed to attend races. The Selangor Turf Club Administration Office working hours will be shortened and will close at 3:30 pm on weekdays.

Selangor Turf Club races will be telecast to Penang, Perak, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Horse Racing has continued behind closed doors in many countries around the world during Covid-19 pandemic. Among the countries which have hosted racing successfully behind closed door are Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, USA and Britain.

The Club will ensure that all Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOP) are fully adhered to safeguard everyone’s health and wellbeing.
