Trainer AB Abdullah’s top class sprinter, Aljawhra, should continue with a tip top performance in the Class 3 event over 1400m in Race 5 at Selangor Turf Club on Sunday. Last start winner, the four-year-old mare by Reward Of Effort, displayed a classic performance last outing beating Mr Hanks in the Metro A event over 1200m early this month at this course. Once again, Panamanian rider Oscar Chavez will team up with Aljawhra and the combination is the best bet of the day.

Trainer SY Lim’s Smart Master (no. 8) has come right and should open up its winning account once again in a Class 5 (B) event over 1300m in Race 2. The six-year-old by Reaan, at its last outing ran a fair seventh to Chief Clerk over 1400m early this month. Discard that outing, Smart Master will be partnered by Jockey SU Lim and the pair is worth a flutter this time out.

Trainer Simon Dunderdable’s Rakama deserve another chance in the Class 4 (B) event over 1600m in Race 8. The four-year-old mare by Domesday ran an eye catching third to Peer Gynt over 1400m last month. Visiting Japanese Jockey Y Sakito has been elected to ride Rakama and holds a bright chance to greet the judges.

Trainer Lawson Moy’s New Sensation has been well prepared and should be the choice of racing fans in Class 5 (A) event over 1600m in Race 9.
The six-year-old by Myboycharlie did not make any effort last outing when finished a fair ninth to Lucky Master over 1200m early this month.
Apprentice S. Uzair takes the ride on New Sensation and should win this time.
