Trainer SY Lim’s Be Safe should once again demonstrate a tip top performance in Class 3 event over 1200m in Race 6. The six-year-old by Court Command broke the ice last start in fine fashion when came with a determined run at the closing stages of the race to beat Wahash in a conniving manner last month. Last season top apprentice L De Souza retains the ride on Be Safe and will be firm favourite to win again.
Trainer Frank Maynard’s Amazing Eclipse (outer horse)  should break the ice in the Class 4 (B) event over 1600m in Race 8. The nice looking five-year-old mare by Smart Missile finished a game third last outing to Beautiful One over 1600m last month. Jockey R. Shafiq has been elected to ride Amazing Eclipse and the pair looks hard to beat this time out.
