RACE 3 (R673) CLASS 4 (A) – 1700M (II)
At 2:15pm, it was ascertained there was an electrical breakdown causing disruption, as such riders returned to paddock. This race was rescheduled to start at 2:35pm.
3 READY TO SEVENLUCK
(L De Souza) Tended to lay out at the turn out of the straight. Runner clipped heels. Vet inspection: Abrasion off hind cannon.
5 SHANGANI
(App A Najib) Inconvenienced when avoiding the fallen rider at the turn out of the straight.
6 MOMENT OF JUSTICE
(App S Shazmin) Dwelt, losing ground and inconvenienced at the turn out of the straight to avoid the faller rider.
7 NICATOR
(J Daniel) Galloped on at the turn into the straight. Vet inspection: Respiratory distress – 1000M/vet (3 weeks embargo).
8 SHAHBAA
(W Faizal) Clipped the heels of READY TO SEVENLUCK, blundered, dislodging rider. *(See Report). Vet inspection: Bruised off hind fetlock.
10 STAR INVINCIBLE
(S Ruzaini) Rider’s whip broke at the 300M where he discarded it.
The Stewards conducted an inquiry into Jockey W Faizal being dislodged from SHAHBAA at the turn out of the straight.. It was ascertained that READY TO SEVENLUCK laid out slightly at this stage when HAHBAA which had shifted in from Stall 8, had improved quickly on its outside with SHAHBAA striking the outside of READY TO SEVENLUCK’s off hind and blundered. No rider was held accountable for this incident.

RACE 4 (R674) CLASS 4 (B) – 1275M (II)
This race was rescheduled to start at 3:14pm.
2 FIRST PRECINCT

6 UNDER OATH
(SU Lim) Laid inwards from the 50M.
When questioned, Jockey J Daniel (FIRST PRECINCT) stated that the gelding outpaced with the early speed and with its wide draw, he had to ride vigourously to keep in touch with the field. He was of the opinion that the gelding was unsuited by the tight nature of Track II.

RACE 5 (R675) CLASS 4 (A) – 1275M (II)
This race was rescheduled to start at 3:45pm.
1 STRAP MARKS
(S Ruzaini) Returned with a shifted near fore plate which caused the gelding to display signs of soreness.
3 STAR TALENT
(L De Souza) Shifted in near the 775M, crowding runner. *(See Report).
5 OUR DYNAMITE
(J Daniel) Shifted in at the 750M, causing runner to check. *(See Report). Vet inspection: Lame off fore – 3 weeks embargo).
8 ELISE
(J Low) Crowded and had to be checked off the heels and then tightened, losing further ground near the 750M. *(See Report).
10 INHERIT
(MM Firdaus) Blundered on jumping, losing considerable ground.
12 UNSTOPPABLE TRAIN
(App A Suriya) Trainer fined RM250/- for failing to declare the removal of pacifiers. Vet inspection: Bleeding from right nostril – Vet exam.
On inquiry, Jockey J Daniel, the rider of OUR DYNAMITE, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he shifted at the 750M and caused ELISE to check.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey J Daniel’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 6 June 2022 and to expire on 12 June 2022, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
On inquiry, Jockey L De Souza, the rider of STAR TALENT, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he shifted at the 775M and caused ELISE to be restrained.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey L De Souza’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days, to be deferred, with effect from 13 June 2022 and to expire on 19 June 2022, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

RACE 6 (R676) CLASS 5 (A) – 1175M (II)
This race was rescheduled to start at 4:15pm.

(J Daniel) Veered outwards at the start, bumping runner.

(MM Firdaus) Squeezed on jumping, losing considerable ground. Laid inwards when struck with the whip over the final 150M.

(App A Suriya) Veered inwards on jumping, bumping heavily with BINELZAAM. Rider warned that he must ensure that he jumps his horses straight in future.

8 STRONG N BRAVE
(SU Lim) Slow to begin. Rider explained that the gelding had been agitated in the stalls prior to the start and reacted nervously when the gates opened and had dwelt slightly, thereby losing ground. 1 Starting Stall test.

RACE 8 (R678) CLASS 5 (A) – 1175M (II)
2 PRATT STREET
(App A Najib) Steadied off the heels of runner at the 800M. Had to be taken out to obtain a clear run at the 175M.
4 SAND BANK
(J Daniel) Bumped outwards at the 200M when rival shifted out and flicked on the nose by the whip of rival.
5 AUSSIE EAGLE
(L De Souza) Shifted out near the 200M, bumping runner. Rider’s whip accidentally flicked rival on the nose.
