(HS Gill) Raced wide between the 1000M and at the turn into the straight.
Jockey KP Lim explained that GOLD KIDS showed no inclination to race competitively although he had urged it from the outset. A post-race veterinary examination of GOLD KIDS revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to undergo a veterinary examination (3 weeks embargo) before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R806) COMBINED CLASSES 4&5 – 1600M (A6 LONG COURSE)
1 PEER GYNT
(HS Gill) Slow to begin, then raced wide throughout and eased down in the straight. Rider questioned. *(See Report)
2 RISING GLORY
(S Salee) Raced erratically in the straight.
5 SHOW HAND
(App S Uzair) Laid inwards near the 250M and was impeded when attempting a position shortly thereafter. Vet inspection: No significant finding. Impounded.
7 CIRCUIT FLYER
(App S Shazmin) Saddle slipped backwards marginally during running.
Jockey HS Gill stated that when attempting to improve his position mid-race, the field had increased the tempo and he was subsequently trapped wide until straightening where PEER GYNT had commenced to tire. He felt it dip on two (2) occasions in the straight and subsequently eased it from the race. The gelding returned having cast its off fore plate and lame near fore. PEER GYNT will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test (3 weeks embargo) before being declared to race again.

RACE 5 (R807) CLASS 4 (A) – 1100M (A6 SHORT COURSE)

(App S Shazmin) Veered inwards at the start, bumping runner and then raced wide in the early stages.

(L De Souza) Veered outwards at the start, bumping runner. Laid inwards in the straight and near the 200M, crowded runner. Rider was advised that he should refrain from continuing to use his whip when his mounts shifted.

9 GOLDEN YEARS
(App S Uzair) Rider got his whip entangled with his reins in the straight. Vet inspection: Lame near fore – Vet exam (3 weeks embargo)

(MM Firdaus) Shied from the whip of rider, and then had to be eased and taken outwards to obtain a clear run passing the 200M

RACE 7 (R809) CLASS 5(A) – 1250M (A6 SHORT COURSE)
2 STARDICE
(S Salee) Veered outwards at the start, bumping runner. At the 800M, had to be restrained to avoid heels and got its head up in the air. Rider questioned. *(See Report)
4 LIM’S TORPEDO
(L De Souza) Proved difficult to load, delaying the start – 1 Starting Stall test. Crowded badly on jumping, losing its position.
5 TAUBOSS
(AK Lim) Raced wide throughout, finished last. Vet inspection: No significant finding. Poor performance – 1000M/vet
6 FOREVER AND EVER
(App I Fikri) Veered inwards quickly for no reason near the 300M.

(HS Gill) Shifted in after two (2) strides and crowded runner.

(App A Suriya) Rider warned that he must moderate the use of his whip.

Jockey S Salee explained that he wished to take a sit, however, had been left with daylight and STARDICE had over-raced, and proved difficult to restrain.

RACE 8 (R810) CLASS 5(A) – 1250M (A6 SHORT COURSE)
As the start was effected, SUPER BB (SU Lim) refused to jump and became fractious, with the rider dismounting from the horse. Prior to “All Clear” being given, the Stewards viewed the patrol film and declared the gelding to be a definite Starter. SUPER BB will be required to pass 1 Starting Stall test before being declared to race again.
