RACE 1 (R125) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m (lc) CHANGKAT JONG HANDICAP
EMIRATES WARRIOR, a course scratching as it had sustained respiratory allergy, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SUPREME JUSTICE which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
ALASAMO (Z Khairil) was examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
At about the 800M, MAGICAL PARK (App S Hafis) which was over-racing, had to be steadied to avoid the heels of GRAND SHOW (AK Lim) and shifted out, resulting in SECOND CHANCE (App CT Lee) having to be steadied.
ALASAMO raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.

RACE 2 (R126) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m (lc) DURIAN SEBATANG HANDICAP
GOLD COAST CAPTAIN, JETSTAR EAGLE and RACING MAN , all course scratching as they had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, swollen near fore fetlock and bruised near fore fetlock respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
STAR CHOICE which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
NAPOLEON (Z Khairil) jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride.
App S Hafis and Jockey J Daniel, the riders of YOU ARE SPECIAL and ASIAN JET respectively, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of YOU ARE SPECIAL revealed that the gelding had returned lame near fore and ASIAN JET revealed no obvious abnormality. YOU ARE SPECIAL will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R127) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (lc) PASIR SALAK HANDICAP
QUEEN FORCE and DANE’S ANATOMY, both course scratching as they had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
NEVERUNCONDITIONAL (HS Gill) was fractious in the barrier and jumped away awkwardly.
POWER EXPRESS (App R Lingarajan) jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride.
KING WARRIOR (I Amirul) was slow to begin.
Jockey CK Tan, the rider of CLASSIC KING reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of CLASSIC KING revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R128) CLASS 5(A) -1200m (lc) TAIPING HANDICAP
Emergency acceptor ROCK ME EASY was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
SOUTHERN WIND which was down 33kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
COMECATCHME (App R Lingarajan) was examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
SOUTHERN WIND (CK Tan) and BUTCH CASSIDY (J Daniel) both jumped away awkwardly and were slow to begin.
BALL AND CHAIN (App CT Lee) and SWISS ROLL (M Yusri) bumped on jumping away.
At about the 1000M, PEARL KING (App P Mogun) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of EMPIRE BAY (AK Lim).
Jockey J Daniel, the rider of BUTCH CASSIDY reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of BUTCH CASSIDY revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of YOU ARE GENIUS (AM Aizat) and SWISS ROLL revealed that both these horses returned having bled and as such, will each be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will each be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

RACE 6 (R130) OPEN MAIDEN (WFA) – 1000m (sc) SUNGAI SIPUT STAKES
OCEAN LAW and COLOUR PAINT, both course scratching as they had sustained swollen off hind fetlock and skin allergy respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
CAUSE TO FLY which was down 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
LIM’S LEADER (HS Gill) stood when the gates were released and was very slow to begin. The gelding will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
CAUSE TO FLY (R Rueven) jumped away awkwardly and thereafter, laid out over the concluding stages, taking AYAAN (J Chuah) wider on the track.

RACE 7 (R131) CLASS 4(B) -1400m (sc) BAGAN SERAI HANDICAP
Emergency acceptors STORM WARNING and JOYFUL were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey J Low to replace Jockey S Muniandy as the rider of SING EXPRESS, when the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer.

RACE 8 (R132) CLASS 4(A) – 1400m (sc) SUNGAI TERAP HANDICAP
CRACKING TOTTIE and ELUSIVE GENIUS, both course scratching as they had sustained bruised near fore fetlock and bruised off fore fetlock respectively, each will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptor MASTER JIANGMEN was withdrawn due to capacity field.
ONE FORCE which was up 16kgs and LADRONE which was down 39kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
The Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey I Amirul to replace Jockey S Muniandy as the rider LADRONE when the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer.
Trainer P Lee was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on LADRONE (I Amirul).
FAST AND SUPER (CK Tan) jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride.
RULE THE WORLD (M Yusri) was slow to begin.
Jockey WK Yan, the rider of PENTAGON reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of PENTAGON which raced poorly, revealed no obvious abnormality. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
