RACE 1 (R665) CLASS 5(B) – 1600m(lc) PSV HANDICAP
NAPOLEON (WK Yan) which was restless in the barrier, jumped away awkwardly.
APROBACION (J Chuah) was checked shortly after the start when D’GREAT GLORY (R Shafiq) shifted out and POLO MASTER (F Yap) shifted in and lost its position.
D’GREAT GLORY over-raced in the middle stages of the race.
Passing the 300M, NAPOLEON had to be steadied to avoid the heels of RUSH (App S Saddam) and shifted out to obtain clear running.
APROBACION had to be steadied inside the 300M when D’GREAT GLORY rolled in.
Post-race veterinary examinations of JACKWIN (M Yusri), NO NONSENSE (M Hanif) and SWAN SONG (Z Khairil) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R666) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m(lc) NAPOLI HANDICAP

KING WIN dislodged its rider, Jockey AK Lim enroute to the start, ran a considerable distance and struck the running rails. Acting on veterinary advice, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of KING WIN at 1.41pm and the horse will be will be required to pass one starting stall test (to be ridden unaided to the start) before being declared to race again.

SATELLITE TURBO (App CK Khaw) and EVIL TRAIN (J Chuah) both stood when the gates were released and were slow to begin.

PURPLE RAIN LADY (Z Khairil) laid in away from the whip passing the 300M and shifted in, taking EVIL TRAIN inwards.

LUCK DRAGON (M Yusri) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

Jockey S Salee, the rider of AGUERO reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of AGUERO revealed no obvious abnormality.

Post-race veterinary examinations of SING ENERGY (HS Gill), SUCCESSION (F Yap) and LUCK DRAGON revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 3 (R667) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc) MONACO HANDICAP
MASTER JIANGMEN (J Low) cast its near hind plate whilst parading at the Parade Ring and had to be re-shod. The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined the gelding and passed it fit to start.
MAZANDARAN (App R Ruwaidy) raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
Jockeys Z Khairil and J Low, the riders of THE MILLIONAIRE and MASTER JIANGMEN respectively, both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of THE MILLIONAIRE, MASTER JIANGMEN and FRANCES (App L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Jockey R Shafiq, the rider of D’GREAT TALENT as to why after getting a good jump, he restrained the gelding. He stated that his instructions were to get a good position from a wide draw. After getting a good jump, his mount threw its head up on a few occasions at the backstraight when he tried to steady to get some cover. The Panel of Stewards showed Jockey R Shafiq the vision of the race and advised him that he must not over-slacken the pace.

RACE 4 (R668) CLASS 5 (A) - 1200m(lc) PARIS HANDICAP
HELLO SAYANG (App R Lingarajan) which was leaning on the inside barrier, was slow to begin.
AUSSIE EAGLE (App CK Khaw) jumped away awkwardly.
PEACH BOWL (App M Sathiaa) shifted out on jumping away and bumped MR EPIC (S Salee), which in turn, bumped SATELLITE GOLDEN (AK Lim) and SING ROULETTE (KC Wong).
SATELLITE GOLDEN which was over-racing, had to be checked to avoid the heels of SING ROULETTE at the 1100M.
JUMBO STAR (J De Souza) had to be steadied racing to the 1000m when CLASSIC KING (App S Saddam) rolled in.
HELLO SAYANG raced wide from the 800M until entering the straight.
JUMBO STAR had to be steadied racing to the 700M to avoid the heels of CLASSIC KING.
Post-race veterinary examinations of CLASSIC KING, JUMBO STAR and PEACH BOWL revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 5 (R669) ENRICH STAKES A (SW) – 1200m (lc) TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR STAKES
TANNHAUSER, GARIZA, WHITE CHIN and ARIF, all course scratching as they had sustained sore near fore fetlock, upper respiratory infection, bruised near fore sole and cellulitis both hind legs respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
GRAND CROSS and MULTIBLUE RANCHO which were up 25kgs and 20kgs respectively and LAUS DEO which was down 22kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
ANONYMOUS (S Salee) reared when the gates were released and lost ground.
D’GREAT CONQUEROR (J De Souza) had to be checked racing to the 1000M, when LAUS DEO (App S Saddam) rolled in and as a consequence, D’GREAT CONQUEROR laid out, resulting in it being tightened onto MULTIBLUE RANCHO (App I Firdzriel), which as a consequence, had to be checked to avoid the heels of RELAU STAR (Z Khairil), resulting in MULTIBLUE RANCHO losing its position.
RELAU STAR commenced to shift ground inwards from the 250M.
App L De Souza, the rider of THESE STREETS reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of THESE STREETS revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of FAALTLESS (App A Suriya) and MULTIBLUE RANCHO revealed no obvious abnormality and GRAND CROSS (HS Gill) returned with respiratory distress. As such, GRAND CROSS will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 6 (R670) CLASS 4 (B) – 1200m (sc) DORTMUND HANDICAP
PROUD PINOY which was down 30kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
SMART EAGLE (App P Mogun) was brushed by ALWAYS D’GREAT (CK Tan) shortly after the start and became unbalanced for some strides.
App R Lingarajan, the rider of PROUD PINOY dropped his whip at about the 100M. He was shown the vision of the incident in the presence of Assistant Trainer Mr. Morli Bharu and was warned that a repetition may lead to action being taken against him.
Post-race veterinary examinations of LIVELY DRAGON (App L De Souza) revealed that the gelding had returned with a cut to its near hind fetlock and HAPPY BOX SIX (J De Souza) and SMART EAGLE revealed no obvious abnormality. LIVELY DRAGON will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 8 (R672) CLASS 4 (B) – 1400m (sc) ROMA HANDICAP
STAR CHOICE, a course scratching as it had sustained a cut to its left hock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The Panel of Stewards permitted App CK Khaw to replace App L De Souza as the rider of RAINBOW FISH, as the latter was medically stood down.
As there was no suitable senior rider available, the Panel of Stewards permitted App A Zaimuddin to replace Jockey Z Khairil as the rider of SONIC-X as the latter was medically stood down.
LUCK SUCCESS (M Yusri) was slow to begin.
SING DARCI (HS Gill) which was slow to begin, showed no early pace despite being urged.
Post-race veterinary examinations of NINETYSEVENEMPEROR (S Anandan), RAINBOW FISH (App CK Khaw), SONIC-X (App A Zaimuddin) and SING DARCI revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 9 (R673) CLASS 4(A) – 1400m (sc) PORTO HANDICAP
As there was no suitable rider available to the connections of LEON, the Panel of Stewards permitted the withdrawal of LEON at 4.45pm.
The Panel of Stewards permitted App CK Khaw to replace App L De Souza as the rider of MR MOSA.
CASING ROYAL (J De Souza) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to start.
BRISTOL DIAMOND (HS Gill) knuckled on jumping and shortly after the start, KING POWER (AK Lim) shifted in, resulting in BRISTOL DIAMOND having to be checked and in doing so, shifted in, making contact with ELITE GOLD (App A Zaimuddin) on several occasions.
BRAVE MALALA (CK Tan) was slow to begin and showed no early pace despite being urged.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MR MOSA (App CK Khaw) revealed no obvious abnormality and KING POWER which returned with epiglottic entrapment, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
