Consistent four-year-old BANKER’S GLORY looks ready to break through for his first Malaysian win when he contests the 1400m Class 4A at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

BANKER’S GLORY has recorded five minor placings from eight local starts, with his runs typically spaced well apart. However, connections have opted for a different approach this time, electing to back him up quickly after his third-place finish over 1050m at the track last Sunday.

A two-time winner in Australia over distances up to 1343m, the gelding appears well suited by the rise in trip. With leading apprentice G Farhan aboard for the first time, he looks capable of adding to the strong strike rate of the Banker’s Stable and Johnny Lim combination.
