Six year old galloper, TYPHOON can immediately atone for his recent defeat when he lines up in the 1400m Wishes Come True stakes on Wednesday.

TYPHOON chalked up his first win for the season with a neck victory over 1500m in a Class 5A contest on January 24. The Simon Dunderdale prepared gelding was heavily supported to start favourite over the 1300m journey here last Sunday week and caught the eye when flashing late from midfield.

TYPHOON took a while to wind up before finishing 1.75 lengths in arrears over the shorter trip. Once again he’ll carry the 59kg but is a proven weight carrier and a return to winning form is on the cards.
