Saudi Cup 2026 – The World’s Premier Horse Racing Festival

The Saudi Cup is one of the most prestigious and high-profile events in international horse racing, held annually at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Now in its seventh edition (13–14 February 2026), the event brings together the world’s top thoroughbreds, elite jockeys, and passionate racing fans for two days of thrilling competition, entertainment and cultural celebration.

The Racecourse – King Abdulaziz Racecourse

  • The King Abdulaziz Racecourse is a world-class venue located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and serves as the heart of the Saudi racing calendar.

  • The Saudi Cup proper is run on the main dirt track over 1,800 meters (about 1⅛ miles). The track is a wide, left-handed oval with long straights and generous sweeping corners — giving horses and their jockeys plenty of tactical opportunities during the race.

  • In addition to dirt racing, the racecourse hosts prestigious turf races and other Group-class events during the weekend, attracting international contenders on all surfaces.
